Crash upon launch of COH

What's the deal with that? If your memory modules were working right you should be getting the type and speed instead of...that. You did check them in the System Profiler Memory section didn't you?
Try removing the newest RAM from your computer first (make sure it's unplugged before you do that), a pair at a time. If you stop getting the "hold the power button and restart" screen then you've found the bad ones.
That screen you're getting btw is called a "kernel panic". It does produce a log, but for some reason they can't be posted to the forums. It's not hard to guess the cause though - it's usually bad RAM, a disk error, or bad driver software, the last of which is considerably more rare unless you install a lot of 3rd-party stuff that needs drivers. And usually you can guess which one it is by the timing of the crash.

It seems one of my new memory modules went bad. It's only been a month or two. I had a total of 10 Gb RAM, and I noticed the system profiler shows only 6 Gb available.
I tried running the apple hardware test to test all the memory modules, but the test freezes during the initial hardware probe.
I then proceeded to swap out memory chips through process of elimination to figure out which one was bad and I found it.
I removed the one I believe to be bad, and it's pair as well.
The remaining 6 Gb of RAM seem to be fine. I am still getting the kernel panic. I will try taking out the remaining new RAM and try again.
I will post again after I try that.
Ok, I removed all of my 3rd party memory and left only my initial 2 Gb of RAM from mac and I am still getting the kernel panic. I don't know if this helps, but here is the report I found after restarting my mac:

If it is a 3rd party driver, the only 3rd party drivers that I've installed are for my M-Audio Fast Track audio recording IO box and my MidiSport MIDI to USB box.
I use these a lot and wouldn't be very happy to have to uninstall these every time I want to play COH....
Ok, sorry about all of the posts, but I think I found the issue:
I use the M-Audio Fast Track USB IO device to record music into Garage Band and to send audio out of my mac to my Pro Audio Monitors.
For grins, I switched my mac audio out from M-Audio Device to Line Out,
and then COH did not have a kernel panic.
I guess that means that I can't use the M-Audio device while playing COH.
At least I don't have to uninstall anything to play, just switch the audio out.
It's weird though because initially, I launched COH and started playing with the device on and audio out set to M-Audio Device....
At least I found out that one of my memory modules are bad though.
I got it from TransIntl, so I think it should still be under warranty.
Thank you for the help CuppaManga
Check also if M-Audio has a newer driver.

yep, I have the newest driver already installed.
After a two month break from playing COH, I launched the COH application, the COH client loaded all the recent patches and applied them.
I was in the game for about 2 - 3 minutes and the game crashed.
After the crash, every time I start to load COH, the screen goes to black and I get the mac warning that I need to hold down the power button to restart the computer. COH is the only application that isn't launching.
I've tried verifying the files and restarting the machine, but I can't get it to work.
Here are my computer specs:
