MM Boss Didn't Use Pets?
It might be a glitch. I'm testing a mission (It's up now in beta) and the boss of the second mission is a MM. I use my troller to test and if I give her a single break from lockdown she summons her soliders.
Is the MM summons interuptable? I didn't think it was otherwise I'd guess that maybe once it's interupted it has to go through the cycle. Was this a one time deal?
I have the same problem with a boos MM in one of mine. It takes forever for him to call them, and alot of times hes dead before he does.
I have found a little trick in my testing. If you want to make sure he summons pets, give him a melee powerset secondary but make sure he's set to ranged fighting style. He will prefer to fight ranged, and since the only thing he can do at range is summon, you'll see pets more often.
Also make sure you have him set to at least hard to make sure he can summon pets.

I see this problem mostly when the MM has a buffing secondary or something with a lot of ranged clicks like Trick Arrow. When the MM is set to Ranged and has a secondary that is all toggles and passives they tend to summon right away upon seeing you. Mine use Regen on Standard, giving them no choice but to summon really.

All MM sets have at least the tier-1 Henchmen at Standard. There is no pet-less MM option in AE.
Today I was retesting a mish I have published. At one point I come to fight a boss that I gave the MM Bots power to, but it never called them. Granted, the boss wasn't on its feet too long after I started attacking, but we tangled for a good fifteen seconds or so, during that time I think I saw it cycle through every one of the secondary powers. Yet no bots, no stun grenade rifle thingy they use, etc. Up until now it was my experience that calling out the bots was always at the top of the list. I did check to make sure the boss was still assigned Bots for its primary.
I've only had a chance to test this once so far, I'll go home and do some more testing tonight, but I was wondering if anyone else has seen this or had reoccurring problems like this? Was this maybe just a one-time bug?
