Hello Blasters,

I have been playing this game for almost 5 years and just recently decided to make a Fire/Fire blaster to run around and kill stuff.

Well I have my build pertty much set up except for Inferno, I just dont know how to slot it.

I have tried to read thru these forums and have even gone thru the player guides and I am still confused as to how to slot it.

Right now (at lvl 39) I have it 3 recharge 3 Dmg lvl 35 common I/O's.

I would like to build the set up now as most of the other sets I have are in the 35-39 range and that is gona be his final build.

I dont plan on any purples so this will be it.

Any and all friendly advise would be greatly appreciated.

what set bonuses are you building for ? Oblit is great there for recharge and extra acc, sciroco's for extra regen, eradication for defense

If no purps and you're willing to frankenslot, Dam/Rech x 3, 1 Dam & 1 Rech generic IO (all lvl 35s will work). You could do 5x Dam/Rech, but you'll get the same #s w/the 2 generic IOs for the last bits of Dam & Rech, and it'll be cheaper that way. Assuming you never nuke w/o BU + Aim, you don't really need Acc or End redux or anything else. If it were Nova, I'd stick in a FF +rech proc, but obviously not in Inferno.

If you can float a single purp (and get the 5-set bonus elsewhere w/o it), 4 Dam/Rech's will ED cap you (this, obviously, would be a respec at 50 kind of thing). You need the Armageddon D/R to make this work w/only 4 slots.

If you're looking for set bonuses, for recharge, I'd 5-slot Obliteration (all but the proc) and 1 Dam/Rech (cheapest you can find, prolly Multi Strike. If you're going for ranged/AoE defenses, 5-slot Scirroco's (again, skip the proc) and 1 Dam/Rech, but this will not cap your recharge even using lvl 50 IOs so I don't particularly recommend this route.

Thanks guys, i am going for recharge to keep the attacks going so i am going to slot the 5 Obliterations and the Dmg/ Recharge.

I dont have anyting against purples, my Ice/Kin Troller and Corr are all pupled out, but I wanted some advise on how to slot now so I can use this guy on my way to 50.

Never had a blaster before and for the first 39 levels have enjoyed him so much I just might shut off xp and keep blasting away just for the "Hell" of it.

Maybe as some point when i do take her to 50 Ill just borrow some cash from his rich daddy and purple this guy out as well but for now just enjoying him the way he is.

I frankenslot my nukes. Because you are otherwise sacrificing what the power NEEDS to help out your other stuff. I can see with the Armageddon, but otherwise I recommend this:
Acc/Dam or Acc/Dam/Rech
Dam/Rech x 4

I throw in a little Accuracy because sometimes [less than five times in five years] I have to throw out a nuke when BU and Aim aren't up, some sort of party emergency that needs fixed NOW.

... at level 41 you can get ANOTHER AOE. Just sayin'.

Thanks guys for all your input... Hey Fulmen long time, no see...

I had already purchased the Obli's but the last 2 post have given me food for thought, I will run my blaster for now the way he is and if I want to make some changes I can use one of the many respec's i have available to me.

I know I can always sell the Obli's and make a profit
