There are three different versions of Captain Mako in the Mission Architect. Namely:-
Captain Mako (Arch-villain 40-54) - This is the normal version you fight. The blueside Mender Silos should feature this Mako.
Captain Mako (Arch-villain 54-54) - This is the level 54 Mako from the STF
Captain Mako (Boss Signature Pets 40-54) - This is the weaker Mako you get in the redside Mender Silos, as an ally.
The one you're thinking of is the normal 40-54 AV/EB Mako. You will need to purchase a character unlock with tickets to get access to all versions of Mako.

He is actually a boss, as the name suggests.
When you target the Boss Signature Pets version in-game, it may indicate he's something else.
I can't remember what the patron pets are labeled, but if you target the Boss Signature Pets Sister Psyche, for instance, it indicates she is a Hero. But she's actually just a boss.
I've you've done the blueside Mender Silos TF, as your post seems to imply ... remember all the Vindicators and Freedom Phalanx members you can get as pets? Remember how they all die very easily? That's because they're actually bosses like these. Except Citadel, he's a full-fledged Elite Boss for some strange reason.

captain mako can be found in a lot of differnet missions
but im asking this
is there any difference between the captain mako that you can use in the mission architect and there is with captain mako in the mender silos taskforce for blue side?
