Vetran Reward issues?

That's normal for redeeming your 30 Month Reward, Committed. There's a one-time splash of reward redeemed and the reward channel shows you each of the items. If you go to edit a base, chose "Place Personal Item" and those things will be available to place in a base.
As far as the bug being reported of getting Vet Rewards early, it didn't happen to my second account which is a year behind my main account.

Okay so the spam is normal. I just had never really seen it do that. The BADGE spam, yeah, but not the item spam.

Well, you used to get a big screen *splash* for each item. And if you wanted 10 Citadel Brains for your base, you'd get 130 splashes in total that would take over a minute to animate through.
They changed that upon player request.

Recently there's been some people in the Player Questions area wondering about their sudden appearance of vet rewards the account they're on hadn't earned yet.
Tonight, I made a mm and started choosing her (valid) vet rewards, and when I got to the Base Items (trophies) I got this spam in my chat box.
Is this normal? I haven't seen that, ever, but then I haven't made too many new characters very recently and don't normally pay attention to the general tab while I'm in the tutorial getting new powers up.
How many others are experiencing this sudden spurt of "added" vet rewards, too? I mean, the one person says they've been on the account all of a week - and they got to choose up to the 42 month vet rewards. That's pretty wonky. Anyone? Either of these things?
