No Cutscene Dialog

I have had this problem for at least the past 4 issues. I get the cut scenes, but I do not have any dialog to go along with them.

I submitted a bug report on it, and there were several attempts by tech/customer service to fix the issue, but nothing worked.

Has anyone ever had this problem, or know of anyone that has it? Its kind of annoying in the upper lvl game where there is epic stuff going on but I just see a mime act.

You have probably been having this problem since i12. All you have to do is make sure "Cutscene Captions" and "NPC dialog" are in one of your chat tabs.

Yea, at least i12. But that was the first thing that tech/CS told me to do. No luck on any of my characters. I went through several back and forth sessions where they tried to fix this but nothing ever fixed it.

Check your General options, under the CHAT section for "Chat Balloons" and make sure that's Enabled too.

The only other reason I can think of for not seeing the Dialog is if you have "Disable2d" enabled.. in which case you wouldn't see the whole user interface either! lol

Your issue has shown up in the forums several times since i12 added the "Cutscene Captions" option in the chat tabs. The problem was it wasn't always added to a chat tab by default, and adding it manually has worked for everybody so far.

I don't know what else to tell you. Sorry.
