A good RP super group

Hey everyone.

My name is Sean, and I started playing CoH again. However, it is soon coming back as to why I left. The game can be very, very monotonous and rinse and repeat like if you go at it from a game point of view. However, I love to RP. So, in an effort to keep my interest in a different aspect of the game I would like to know if anyone on this forum is part of any RP super groups that are taking recruits.

I put this here because unlike the server forums where they list super groups, I don't want to limit myself to any particular server. I'll go anywhere, so long as the super group is something that I think I will work well with.

Which brings me to my next topic; what I am hoping to find. I'm not very picky. A super group that is active is probably my biggest concern. I play often during the evenings and I'd like to be able to connect and role-play with several members at any time. So, an active SG is something that is very appealing.

Stories and crafting them. A SG that has a focus on individual stories as well as large arching stories covering the whole SG. Creative and active minds are those that I fit in the best with as I always have some idea I want to share with others.

And I think that's about it. An active, creative RP super group is what I am hoping to find. If anyone is in a super group that sounds like that, I would be so, so appreciative if you could PM me or comment here with any information you'd like to give.

Thanks so much, you all take care.

Virtue is the Official-Unofficial RP server. Supergroups sprout there like mushrooms after a light rain, and there's so much insanity in the Pocket D that it's become downright notorious. If you go to the Virtue forums, they provide a convenient thread that lists all supergroups and villaingroups with their themes, contacts, recruitment policies and so forth. The Virtue community is so active that, as of late, the server has become practically inaccessible half the time, and people have been fleeing it in groups sized anywhere from cliques to droves. But it's not really that bad, in my opinion (my inability to run a single mission notwithstanding).

I don't know about other servers, but there is a pretty decent RP community on Pinnacle as well. They have their own site, separate from the main boards, and they are quite active and like their stories.

I think that if you first defined a theme or character concept, you'd be more likely to get people pointing to specific groups; at the moment they are frightened off by the openminded generalism. I hope this information helps you out.

P.S. My group will always take members who can spell.
