Their is a check box on the updater labeled "Safe Mode". This temporarily sets the graphic options and resolution to their lowest. You can then, once you enter a server, set your graphics options.

Is there any way I can reduce the quality so that I can reduce lag and increase my FPS? Is there a menu or something that I can access before the game actually begins to do this?
