Game totally freezing up

I just reactivated after a year of letting the villians run free and after I pick my server and go to the character selection screen my game freezes. I look on my 2nd screen at the CPU monitor i have up and the CPU is at 99% or 100%. Nothing else is affected. Mem and Disk are fine and I'm pretty sure it isn't my fan since I can play other high demand games on my pc just fine.

So what's the deal with CoV not working? lol so not a nice way to come back to playing.
