Need help choosing a Blaster

I'm kind of torn on what to roll. I plan to do zone PvP, not arena.

As far as primaries, it's between Archery, Fire, and Sonic. The damage on Archery looks great, I'm liking the idea of never missing with an Arch/Dev combo. But, I'm kinda worried about Lethal resistance. Any input on this?
Sonic, I've played, but I'm not sure if the other primaries are better. Sonic has long root times, which are more likely than anything to get me killed. Especially with the 40 ft. range on Shout.

Secondaries, I'm pretty set on Devices, it has the utility I need. However, I've heard great things about EM.

And finally, if I go /Devices, does the TP'ing onto Trip Mines still work?

Sonic/Devices is a solid choice. I PvP with mine on a regular basis, and he's the only toon I PvP with that has earned himself some respect in the zones.

Trip Mines and TP can work if you're incredibly patient and don't mind getting killed by your own mines occasionally when a fortunata or Mind dom notices what you're doing. That said, I don't recommend using Trip Mines at all. Basically, for zone PvP, just ignore the second half of Devices (after Cloaking Device) Gun Drone is fun in duels, but you won't get as much use out of it in zones.

Sonic/Devices isn't your absolute best choice, but you can do a lot worse.
