Custom Critter Levels

How do I set a certain level for custom mobs? I did a search and after 4 or 5 different combos of search text I can't find an answer.

I hope one of you brilliant people can help Thanks a lot in advance!

You can't set a level for an individual custom critter. However, if you have a group of custom critters that you're using, you could add a standard enemy to the group to set the level.

Yes but then if I say added a Freedom Corps Cataphract (lvl 54) wouldn't it then appear throughout my map along with that custom group.

Or is there a way to have it associated with the group but not be added to my missions?

How do you do this? How does one add a standard villain to a custom group?

I went into a mission that was a 54-54 mission, all I saw in the mission was a destructible object, some custom A/V allies, and some custom Boss baddies.

How did they get the mission to level 54? How can I do the same in my missions?

For that matter, how exactly do you:

Probably one of the mission objectives spawned an AV like Mako of which there is a 54-54 level version (look under Arachnos while adding a Boss objective). Mako won't appear on the map until the objective is triggered, which, if it ends the mission, most people just leave and don't look to see if something new has been triggered on the map.

Just chose a group with a restricted level. If your ambush is Clockwork, then the mission will be limited to levels 1-15.
