Whenever I try it, on page 2 (page 1 being all dev's choice) I get a 5-star arc with ten ratings at the top, and it tapers down to 5-star arcs with one rating at the bottom. And then the same thing happens on pages 3-50+.
Is the arc with ten ratings getting dinged by one bad rating that actually makes it a 4.9 star arc? No, because it still shows up above many other arcs with only one 5-star rating (and a pure 5-star average).
Is it all arcs with 5-star averages, sorted chronologically? Maybe, but why does every page consistenly have arcs with more ratings at the top?
It's terribly un-useful as a tool to find missions that other people liked, except in the broadest sense of "Here's everything with a 5-star average. SOMEBODY liked it, unless it's just the author's friend or second account."
So, math people, what's going on?

The sort is only being applied to the current page, not the entire list it seems like.
Apart from "Not very well".
