Spines/? Scrapper
SR, skip fighting. Get phase.
Aid Self? Or just phase/run/rest?
Eh, you'd have to ask someone who plays, but prolly get Aid Self as well.
Aid self and temp phase ftw.
Fire should be good too. Healing flames with phase is pretty hard to kill. I know my tank is pretty unkillable, so I assume a scrapper is similar.
3 words. Scrapper resist cap.
/SR is the way to go man. Get Aid self and just keep buying the temp phase power. i have fought a few /SR and could barely ever hit them. Im actually rolling a new scrapper now that has /SR as well. Im think of goin with Spine/SR and having hasten, super speed, swift, hurdle stamina, maneuvers, tactics. as far as patron goes, ill proll stick with CP and focused accuracy. it should be pretty interesting
@The REAL Chop
My teachers always told me to follow my dreams. To bad they are all Nightmares.
Im thinking SR too, because of the experiences I've had in pvp zones. SR scrappers are nigh unkillable. Once they get in a tight situation (fighting 3-5 at a time), all ya got to do is phase or elude.
Probably going hasten, SS, CJ, SJ, Swift/Health/Stam, and stealth/invis/phase. If stealth toggle is repeatable to buy then i might go leadership or aid self >.>
Drop the Fitness pool, take Body Mastery. Alternate between Elude and Conserve Power.
"One day we all may see each other elsewhere. In Tyria, in Azeroth. We may pass each other and never know it. And that's sad. But if nothing else, we'll still have Rhode Island."
That just sounds dumb. I would have to run back to base all the time for elude drops because im using it all the time for recovery instead of when I need it to survive.
No offense, but I have the room in the build for fitness anyways.

The old school SRs have been doing that for a long time. Why would you need to run back to your base every time Elude crashes when you have blues for that very reason? If you can fit in Fitness then sure, go for it, but many SR builds are really tight and can't.

if you don't take phase or leadership on a regen you're a joke

No Leadership on mine. I do have Phase though. Only reason I even bothered taking Tough is because it gives resists to everything in PvP and because Kick is sadly one of the better attacks now.

SS SJ Fitness Phase, what did you drop for tough, baddo?
Fitness. I've found I'm not really missing the extra end recovery that Stamina gives, between the Numina and Miracle uniques and a few recovery set bonuses, and regen rates get neutered by DR anyways so Tough is a bigger net benefit than Health would be. It's mostly a mess-around-in-zones build so if I were to get into serious arena with it I'd probably pick up Tactics

Or you can drop concealment and get fighting or medicine. Theres a craftable phase shift power that you can buy from WW over and over again, and I doubt you need the stealth or invisibility from that pool anyways.
I dont know much about SR because I've never played one, but:
I have room for fighting or medicine. Which do I take?
Should I take the AoE def toggle, AoE def auto, neither, or both?
(macskull: I dont want to have to run back into atlas for insps, because for some reason everytime I zone into RV, my game freezes and it takes me like 5 minutes to load in. I try not to leave RV once im there.)

Temp powers don't work in arena. If you're only going to be in zones, the Warburg temp phase (30 minutes of use, can get up to 3 times) and the other craftable/temp phases should get you by.

Medicine.

Both if you can - the auto has scaling resists and they both grant valuable defense debuff protection.

Ah forgot about arena. Well looks like I have to change build again >.>
My old /sr arena build, i use to drop fitness, for aidself and phase, with ios, you can just alternate elude, once elude dropped pop a blue conserve power then phase, wait for elude, it was pretty unkillable back in the day except for the occasional inferno with 5 reds from a blaster, other then that it was pretty nice, now a days it should work just as good in the arena, dont know about zones since dr hurts recharge pretty good, wouldnt want to wait that long for elude to come back and conserve power
I got Spines/regen and he very good in pvp zone like RV I guess you just need to know to play your Spines/? whatever scrapper in any other mish and stuff, and make sure you get the proper IOs set for your scrapper. and you do fine.
Nacht Nova Thunder = Level 50 (Liberty) Dark Blaster/Storm Summoning - Defender
Nova Ninja = Level 50 (Liberty) spines/ Regeneration - Scrapper
CanadianMan = Level 50 (Liberty) Super Strength/Invulnerability - Tanker
LibertyBoy = Level 35 (Liberty) Stone Armor
/Fiery Melee - Tanker
A question about this topic tho: this kind of build would only be good at RV/later leves? I'm asking this because my fave zone pvp is Siren's and I think this build while cool would still lack most powers at lv 30 (with /SR that is).
Or it would work nicely there too?

I know that I am making a spines scrapper for pvp. However, I'm not able to make a sure decision on a secondary.
I know Regen is good but not so much for spike damage. I would take tough with regen.
Invul has capped resist to S/L plus Dull Pain. Would take tough with this to cap S/L.
Fire has about 60 percent res to most with tough, has healing flames.
SR crazy def and elusitivity out the ears. Would be taking tough/weave with this also.
(Seen alot of crazy powerful SR scrappers around lately...)
Anyone have any tips as to what secondaries are best and any weaknesses/strengths?
