Eddy's work over both those artists' lines are pretty good and inexpensive.

I took a stab at coloring Sanchez's headshot piece of Thornster myself.

There are a few things that bother me but I am tired so that is how it ends tonight ... I may go back to fix a few things later.

Yeah, been meaning to mention the headshots are great Luckily I was able to get in on 'em back before he closed...

As for the coloring job, it's looking pretty darn good. My one question though - Is he supposed to be so purple in the face? I only know the character through arts and I don't recall him being so purple but it's your character and your colors so I'm wondering if it's the correct skin tone or part your still working on?

Well apparently artists don't like my taste for his skin tone and tend to pick other colors ... even for his hair ... I just don't argue much about it. But, if you do look at his reference shots (or here) you will see that his skin is "red". I may have gone a tad too "burgondee" and less "red" ... I probably should have highlighted my base color instead of adding shadows to it ... but hey ... like I said not all perfect but it's still closer to what it should be than most of my art of him

Another example of my coloring his face in those tones can be seen on my colors of Reiq's piece

I kinda like that shade there. I wonder how it'd look with lighter yellows for the hair and spines.

Thanks Caemgen! The style of that sketch gave me a chance to apply an approach that is a little different from what I normally do. In the end though I did end up leaning towards what I normally do. Anyway I tried stuff ...

Ok so apparently Mr. Sanchez does inspire me ... I just saw one of his sketches go by ... thought it looked nice and went ahead and colored it ...

I just had to see that one in color (because the red and blue side by side are not ... desired by all in my part of the world [I have no problem with it]) so I threw some colors on it and one thing led to the next and I ended up with this

I finaly got the colors done on a Chibi of Maiden of the Pit that Alex did for me quite a while back. I just couldn't get it started in a direction I liked ... and I finally did after many many attempts.

Yes, yes, that is the character I was on when I said hi and you were switching to Lady Liberty in the University.
I don't know if I am the only one but I really love seeing "in game" a character that I know from the boards. That was one of the very cool thing about the Envisionnairies is that I got to see alot of the board characters play out ... very cool.

So anyway ... yeah ... Thanks Gad, glad you like it. Took me a while to get the eyes and the hair going the way I wanted it.

Now that I look at your minimalist and check mine ... I rembmer that I should look into my Arc poster and maybe set up the posters I have been wanting to do for my other 2 arcs ...

I was looking at Bayani's commission "A Thorny Situation" featuring my villain Blackthorn and I felt the urge to turn it into a desktop. Thought I would share the result (I didn't do much, the piece does most of the work)
