I am rather surprised that you've never come across any RP.
The way I understand it, there is an RP presence on every server in the game, although I am unaware of the extent of it on Freedom. The "official" RP server for CoH is generally assumed to be Virtue, and there is also, to my knowledge, a fairly substantial RP presence on several other servers, such as Pinnacle.

If you're on Freedom, then you have supplied the answer to your own question. That is, it's NOT on Freedom, at least not so's you'd notice.
Virtue is the unofficial roleplay server. Go hang out on the Virtue forums and make some contacts there. It will help you find a group to play with BEFORE you land in Atlas Park asking "where's the RP?"

First off, I'm glad I found this topic... I didn't know we had one on these forums. I'm interested to see what other RPers have done here.
Second, I've gotta ask... does RP really exist in the game itself? I've never seen anyone make even the most basic attempt outside bios, so I eventually gave up.
I play on Freedom... other games often have servers tagged as "RP", but there's none of that on CoH, unfortunately. If there's a more RP-heavy server I might be able to buy a transfer, depending on cost.
