Video Overlay of Target Sights?

Does anyone have an image, or even better an animation, of some sort of POV targeting sights locking on? I can use regular video, still images or flash animation, BTW.

I only just now saw this... been horrendously busy.

I can probably create something for you in PhotoShop to use as an overlay. If you use something like Sony Vegas Movie Studio, which allows you to import .psd files, you can then pair that with their Pan/Crop feature to zoom in on it, move it around, etc, and simulate your 'lock on' feature.

I don't have time to give you a mock-up before I haul out of here to HeroCon, but I'll see what I can do when I get back.

Magmabolt - No, I haven't gotten After Effects (yet). Is there a free trial somewhere that I could download?

D_R - I use Ulead's VideoStudio but it can import images, including .PSD files. It also does pan/zoom and overlays w/ chromakeying.

Carp. I just downloaded a trial of AE 5.5 but it won't save or render. I'm guessing that rendering might be useful...

Oh, all right! I've ordered After Effects. Jeez monelly, that thing is expensive. But, after seeing what 8Baller was able to do with it in the Matrix contest, I knew I was gonna get it eventually...

I think the easiest way would be to open it in photoshop and cutting the circle and then add it to a new layer, but if u don have photoshop then... well id love to know how u do it lol

My current problem is that now that I have After Effects, I feel like I need to re-do every video I've ever made. LOL
