The Greater Good: Paragon of the Future (Open RP)
((giant? Might I gently suggest that you stick to running to one RP at a time? It's... well, more complex than you think, if you want it to survive))

"You don't have a choice when you're going into space. You just do it, or someone gets shot."
Paragon wasn't the same over the course of 110 years. Infact, the entire galaxy changed.
Paragon was no longer a small city, it was a massive space complex. It grew and grew, even taking over rural towns of Rhode Island and transforming them into a common area of the city.
But the changes weren't all for the good. The draft had started up again: but no longer was simply for the basic millitary. It had transformed into space colonization: the Galactic Alliance of North America.
Canada and America were together in colonization as one force. They were drafted straight from highschool: eighteen or older and able to fire a gun. Those were the only requirements.
If you refused the draft or stood up against the millitary, they would execute you. Guns are even more advanced, developing the long-awaited lazer gun, able to instantly seep through an opponent's skin. Body armor, kinetic barriers, more DNA improvements, whatever comes to mind.
But not everything was in the guns. Heroes and villains still lived about Earth.
Arachnos is one of the largest colonization companies in the world, now growing all the way to the middle of the ocean. They've even created steel colonies floating in the sea.
Heroes are drafted with your common soldiers, but they only get a basic set of equipment and body armor. Their powers are good enough, they're probably more advanced than the common assault rifle.
Colonization of any planet habitable was neccisariy. Any uncharted planet was to be surveyed, and, if possible, explored.
((Basic rules yet again. No controling, godmoding, you get it. Any questions?))
