Look for characters for a fan comic

Hey all,
A while back I started work on a comic book that I had hoped (and still hope) would become a fan base project. By that I mean it has the main characters from CoX such as Sister Psyche, Manticore, Statesman ect but also a good number of fan made characters. In short, the story is such that the fan made characters are on the same level as the main characters. Below is additional information. But the actual reason for this post is not to simply introduce the project.
I am posting asking for others to join me on this project. I don’t want this to be City of Heroes Starring Torroes Prime’s crew with the occasional guest shot by others. I want to involve other people, I want their stories to be in this. So, I’m asking for anyone who is interested in joining in on my project.
Right now, I’m looking for 1 character to fill into a specific spot, but that doesn’t mean I’m not looking for other characters later on. While I have some story arcs mapped out, that doesn’t mean I won’t look at others.
Here’s what I’m looking for right now: A hero that is one (or more if possible) of the following 3 things:
1) A member of Longbow
2) Excessively pro-Longbow, like to the point of they might as well BE a member of Longbow
3) Someone who works closely enough with Longbow, that they believe capturing one of their most
wanted list toppers will help them out in the long run.

For Issue 4, here are my thoughts and plans. The issue will take place at the same time as Issue 2 and 3, but from another teams perspective. That team is performing a recon through Steel City attempting to catalogue Rikti positions and forces. While on recon, the team encounters Torroes Prime’s team. They attempt to engage TP’s team, with the intention of capturing Torroes himself. Well, that’s not gonna happen. The Longbow team has neither the man power, nor the fire power to capture Torroes. In either event, it becomes mute, as the Rikti Attack and both teams must work together in order to survive and later tend to their wounded. From there that will lead into another issue, were both teams team up, and ultimately return to the Rouge Isles and link with other survivors who are working with Torroes.

This is basically, a what-if story line. It’s not an alternate dimension or anything like that. So the Pretorians are still there, all the major characters are there, but they’re not the same as the appear in the game. Here’s what’s happened:

Like in the game, the Rikti have returned in an invasion insited by Nemesis. Vanguard is still at the head of the defense. However, unlike in the game, the invasion is being secretly assisted by another party that even Nemesis doesn’t know about. Prior to the invasion, an elevated security operation was undertaken by Longbow with in the Rouge Isles. This security operation was carried to the scale of a small scale war, and devastated both Longbow and the combined forces of the Rouge Isles. That happened scant months before the second Rikti Invasion. Real convenient huh? That 2 of the 3 major forces that could oppose a Rikti invasion get cut down right before they show up.
Then, when the Rikti did actually invade, they knew exactly where and how to hit the Vanguard to inflict maximum damage. IN short, Longbow’s hurting, the Rouge Isles are a mess, Vanguard has basically been cut off at the knees, and Recluse has vanished into Recluse’s victory. However, following the invasion itself, nearly all inter-dimensional travel shut down. So Recluse is lost, Arachnos as fractured and for all practical purposes no-longer exists. Mako and Scorpion have both taken assets and split off from the main body, no one knows what the heck happened to Ghost widow, while Scirocco is heading a division attempting to open the portals again and retrieve Lord Recluse.
All the turmoil isn’t limited just to Vanguard and the Rouge Isles though. Paragon City was hit the hardest of anywhere by the invasion. The Freedom Phalanx has splintered, while the Vindicators have been scattered. One new innovation the Rikti was using this time, is a magic/mental power dampening field. Many of the more powerful psychics and mystics have been hurt by it’s effects, such as Sister Psyche who is in a coma, while by comparison Mirrorspirit is at roughly half power and Infernal must exert much more effort to keep his demons under control.


So that’s basically the run down on it. I’ve been fortunate enough to get the help of Sin_stalker on this project, but I would like to involve other players in this. While between Sin and myself, we could easily populate the comic and come up with some very interesting and entertaining story arcs, I would like to make this a Fan project with many players characters having their own moments in the spot light. So, just to restate what I’m looking for right now:
I need a hero side character, who is close enough to Longbow to know their most wanted list and see value in attempting to apprehend one of those most wanted. I've got a character that might fit this...

She's fifth in command of our Justice-based SG, Dr. Sorina Tavarisch (aka Agent Tavarisch in-game, grav/kin tech-origin controller). She's our group's liaison to Vanguard, having served in the first Rikti War as a civilian consultant brilliant in field-adapting Rikti technology. After the war, she formally joined the Freedom Corps (but not specifically Longbow - she works with any and all divisions of FC that need her assistance), and worked with both the FC and Vanguard to coordinate the flow of information regarding Rikti technology (and how to fight it).

As Vanguard was pretty much 'cut off at the knees' in your timeline, I can easily see that Tava (her nickname) would have continued to do all that she could, fixing, stealing, and adapting whatever Rikti technology she could get her hands on to help the beleaguered humans.

if you would please send her back story, that'd be great. I'm not saying to using the character at this point, it's just from the brief bio you just posted, she sounds too grounded and smart to try something as incredibly stupid/gutsy/psycho as attempting to arrest Torroes in the middle of warzone with only a hand full of operatives to assist.

My namesake Airborne Ninja. US Mil power armor driver.
He fought in the original Rikti war acting as a quick response force to units in distress. I dont know much about Longbow, but I figure a straight up member of the military would have access to the most wanted lists.
I can post/send his backstory if need be.

hmmm, yes please do post the back story. If nothing else it can give me ideas for stuff later on.

Ya know what, I'm just ask that anyone that is interested in "auditioning" there character for this part, just post their back story (or summery if more then 1 typed page) here. THat way I won't have to keep saying "Yes, please send me a copy of your characters back story"

okay, I'm gonna keep asking for people to issue 4 until friday 18th. Then I'll figure out who I'm gonna use. I'm not saying I'm not gonna use any everyone else that auditions, just that I'm not going to use them right away for issue 4. As I said, I want to make this a fan base comic, and so I will try to work in as many characters and stories as are viable.
