JoJo's no math Guide to Brute Patrons
My DM/EA brute has both Fighting and Widow. Widow for Gloom, Fighting for not-sucking.
Pavement.

excellent guide Smurph. i plan on going with the Fighting Power Pool Patron. much better than anything else i could get for my SS/Elec. he only suffers from one kind of E.D., and it has nothing to do with your guide.
That is beautiful.
I went with Scirocco and Fighting on my DB/WP Brute. Scirocco to give me better AE capability and partially compensate for my lack of a good taunt aura on teams, and Fighting because it layers in so nicely with /WP's layered defenses.
Who? Mako
Huh? Sharks
What it do? Sharks
Why would I want this? Sharks
Use small words: Sharks
^ WIN!
Rule number six of an empathy defender is NEVER underestimate a blaster's ability to die. I don't care if he has CM, Fort, both RAs, bubbles (both FF and Sonic), and is fighting next to a Storm defender with hurricane on. If there is a way to die in that situation, the blaster will find it.
This guide brought a tear of joy to my eyes. My DB/Elec Brute just hit level 40, and I thought I wanted to shoot lightning when I got to 41. Your argument for The Fighting Power Pool is very convincing, though.
Level 50: Furlon the Grim, BS/Regen Scrapper, Virtue
Current creations:
Slaughterface, DB/Elec Brute
Captain Warhead, Rad/Rad Defender, Virtue
Capt. Scar, Arch/Ice Blaster
Global @ Capt. Scar
JoJo's no math Guide to Brute Patrons
This guide is for real Brutes. If you are one of those "smart" Brutes who wants "facts" and "real information" than this guide is not for you. If you are one of those "smart" Brutes you would just go into the game and type the name of the powers in brackets and read the darn information yourself. If you are one of those "lazy" Brutes who is too pathetic to actually look at the numbers himself and discover which is "the best for you" then this guide is not for you. You belong here in the Slapper Forum where you belong. This guide is for real Brutes not "smart" Brutes and not "lazy" Brutes.
Each Patron Power set has its own pet. A summonable Arachnos troop to assist you in your ventures. What a crock of bunny turds! The basic weakling Arachnos troops at your disposal are pathetic and useless. You are a Brute capable of massive destruction. If a worthless Arachnos troop followed you into battle it would be destroyed instantly. They do follow you... and they do die... and they are worthless. Sometimes they do not follow you into battle. After a battle while you are gloating over the pitiful bodies of your defeated foes and basking in the glory of your achievements your stupid henchman may wander off and fire into a huge horde of foes. Don't waste your time enlisting such a pathetic sidekick.
Who? Ghost Widow
Huh? Soul, Dark
What it do? Shoots black stuff.
Why would I want this? Ghost Widow is for you if you want to shoot guys from far away.
Use small words: Pew Pew, FREEM
Who? Scirocco
Huh? Mu, Lightning
What it do? Shoots lightning at people.
Why would I want this? Scirocco is for you if you want to hit lots of bad guys and deal lots of damage to them.
Use small words: Farm
Who? Black Scorpion
Huh? Mace
What it do? You whoop out an Arachnos Mace and do stuff.
Why would I want this? Black Scorpion is for you if you want to trap guys with a Mace then run up to their face and punch it.
Use small words: PvP
Who? Mako
Huh? Sharks
What it do? Sharks
Why would I want this? Sharks
Use small words: Sharks
Who? The Fighting Power Pool
Huh? Its a Power Pool
What it do? Tough and Weave make you harder to beat up.
Why would I want this? If you don't want to shoot stuff from far away, you want to punch stuff in the face, and you don't have E.D. then the Fighting pool is for you.
Use small words: Just pick this one and stop whining.
So there you go. That's what all 5 Brute Patrons do and why you might want to take them.
