as War ran towards Target lad, a trench coat wearing figure appeard out of nowhere and landed a punch square in the center of Abrams face
"you want a fight coward!! pick one with me, not the girl!" he shouted through his assassins mask, he had his blast goggles down, and was making a fist, his hand was covered in a metal glove, his other hand was in his pocket

((Krazy =/= Yosef, just sayin'.))

He was slicked badly on the arm but most of his leather stopped the blows from getting too deep. Abram's face melted around Ravenick. He then melted again, but this time he reapeared just a little behind of Ravenick.

"Oh, it's on"

Another psychic shockwave shook the hallway. It was strong enough to knock the average meta down a little bit. This was easily counter by having basic training in acrobatics.

Ravenick dodged the pulse, and quickly drew twin impervium katanas
"this wont solve anything, well be fighting forever, just stop now and you can leave, i wont follow you"

((Ravenick- declaring that a punch landed, without giving the person who is controlling the character you're taking a swing at a chance to say whether or not it's been dodged, is considered 'god-moding'- rather poor form, all-in-all. It's not the strength of the punch, necessarily, but rather that you're assuming control of War to allow your character to smash his face in))

Target Lad blinked, startled, as War did exactly what the little archer had expected him not to do- simply stood there and took the majority of the arrowstorm. Granted, more than a few simply rattled off armour plate or were knocked away, but enough sank in that Target Lad was already starting to wonder how the big armoured bladeswinger wasn't bleeding to death, or at least immobilized. Then War started after him.

Target Lad cursed under his breath... around this point, Kirae yelled something, but the archer ignored her as being largely irrelevant. Then a psychic shockwave rattled the hallway, fragments of pink psi-energy skittering across the archer's enhanced vision, and the part of Target Lad's brain that wasn't focussed on the oncoming War bumped Abram up from "Strangely dressed Civilian" to "Combatant, possible threat". Danny himself was still far enough back from Abram (and airborne) that the upheaval of the ground didn't do much beyond bring Abram to his attention.

War chose that moment to lunge, and Danny barely had time to bring his bow around. A frozen instant; the Talsorian-headed arrow he had just loosed lending an eerie green glow to the scene. Danny's prescience stretched the moment out, and he was aware enough to realize that if War's movement hadn't been made a little clumsy by the arrows stuck into him, things would have gone badly for the little archer.

As it was, he had (barely) managed to avoid one blade, arching violently back as the blade hissed just above his ribs, nearly cutting Danny's t-shirt right off his skinny frame, a huge slash from just below the collar down to the base turning it into a sort of strange vest. The other blade had opened a long, shallow cut on his left leg, slicing straight through both his jeans and the light metal mesh he wore under his clothes to help channel his electric armour.

Time started again with a jerk, and Danny was smashed aside by War's shoulder without seeing what effect his energy-bladed arrow had had on War, if any, or what had happened to the armoured warrior when his metal (presumably) blade had taken the full brunt of the electrical energies Target Lad channeled around himself in an apparently futile attempt to reduce damage to his person.

Danny himself fetched up against the wall, upside-down, with his head spinning, and War well past him. He shook his head, trying to clear it, his dizziness preventing any serious attempts to defend himself for a few seconds.

If Danny looked up at War, he would only see the man painfully working his way around the next corner clutching his chest. His gloves were apparently insulated very thickly, so still he trudged on, but he could clearly see the Talsorian Arrow stuck dead in the man's stomach.

---

Doc could hear War coming up behind him with a lurching gait. The man looked like an absolute pincushion, and he was gripping an arrow rather tightly in his chest.

"I GOT THIS!" War yelled, suddenly gaining a burst of speed. His main-hand was still quite capable of swording the hell out of Julia and that was exactly what war planned to do.

Then Con Vulse showed up.

"I GOT THIS TOO!" He yelled, not even waiting for Dr. Con to finish his threatening gesture before swinging his blade with all his might at the Doctor's back.

Julia suddenly ran into problems of her own.

A claymore from absolutely nowhere suddenly exploded right next to her and mere milliseconds before the shrapnel ripped through the air she could swear she had seen the slightest distortion along the Portal Corp walls.

As the Doc made his move, he might have been distracted by a loud thunk as a metal object landed in front of him. It rolled to a stop, face up revealing the smashed in head of an assault bot.

"Going somewhere?" con Vulse replied from not far behind.

Shrapnel attempted to pierce her armor and head, neither to any avail, mind you, as the Claymore exploded, giving Julia the fright of her life as she was suddenly thrown off balance, which, generally, while flying through the air at twenty-something miles per hour, is a bad thing. She barely managed to regain her composure, however, wasn't fast enough to avoid barelling straight into War. He would soon find an impervium armored young girl suddenly flying into him at roughly twenty miles an hour, a speed not to be laughed at when dealing with an object of such weight.

Abram turned around and faced Ravenick. "Shall we take this outside?" He looked at the door to the exit to the hallway, "ladies first." He then smiled and let another psychic shockwave out.

Pretty soon, three imps would soon accompany him. If one looked closely, you could make out faint lines in Abram's tattered pants turning bright purple and pink and then green and finally black.

"Fruit salad!" the Doc cried out at the sudden eruption of chaos down the hall, whisking from his night-black trench coat an alien-looking device with the fervor one might imbue to the draw of the sword.

Instead of a blade, however, a neon-green beam lanced from the implement, trailing a stream of misty vapors as it drilled its way into War. A wave of nausea assaulted the Horseman as his stomach revolted to a sudden, searing pain. The average civilian usually blacked out for a moment at such occasions, but even if War experienced no such effect, the results would remain the same.

A Talsorian arrow clattered to the floor at War's feet.

And a wall of energy flared up in Julia's way.

It had all happened in nearly the same instant: the hole in the mercenary's gut had been practically exterminated, the arrow ejected, and the protector bot beside the Doc had transferred its protective energies from the latter to the former, bestowing War with the force field upon his person.

This of course left the Doc 'defenseless' now, but considering his proximity to a glass door in the side of the hallway, he didn't consider this too critical. Beyond lay a short hallway of mirrored walls and somewhat reflective floor and ceiling. Fine beams of soft, mist-like light crossed horizontally from wall to wall, performing slow, vertical oscillations. They came from what appeared to be halogen lamps behind a transparent material.

A static dispersion chamber.

Black-gloved fingers left a few keys depressed upon a pad by the doors, and almost immediately they slid aside, freeing the way for the Doc. The mainframe was near now, the static dispersion chamber present to keep the supercomputer's chamber as free from dust and electric charges as possible. The only thing that now stood between the silhouette-like man and the mainframe was a thick, heavily armored blast gate.

Of course, that held a keypad as well - and seeing as the Doc seemed to know every code around here, that wouldn't keep him out of there.

However, the creepy, Resident-Evil-esque hallway may very well have taken offense at other intruders...if they managed to get past War, Death, and the protector bot, that was. Just because the machine now shielded the mercenary didn't mean it couldn't shoot...

Target Lad flipped onto his feet and then grabbed his head, a wave of nausea assaulting him. War was nowhere to be seen, although noises down the corridor hinted at the Brute's location... at least, until another detonation of psionic energy rattled the hallway. Target Lad clutched his head again and gave an irritated growl (of which the pitch changed partway through, which didn't improve his mood).

A second later, Abram felt a tap on his shoulder. "'Scuse me." a youthful voice interjected. "But could y'stop wi' th' bloody 'look-at-m'-great-brain' booms, y'daft sod? Y're givin' me a devil o' a headache." The words were punctuated by Target Lad's electric-glowing fist being swung in a short, sharp arc that, if all went well, would terminate on the point of Abram's chin and rattle his brains nicely, wreaking havoc with the Corruptroller's synapses as unfettered electricity coursed through the man's head.

((Corruptroller. I like the sound of that.))

Abram's chin was dislocated from Target's blow. He smiled at Target and Ravenick. Then the electricity came.

Due to being a loyan follower to the Dervish, Abram didn't feel much pain from the elctricity, but it did hurt him enough to fry the hair on his head off and leave his sense down for a few moments.

The bright lights around Abram's pants suddenly burst into rays of multi-colored lights emiting from his entire body in a wide arc. He could concentrate better now. Then electricity flowed around his torso, ripping small holes in his leather trench coat.

Domination.

The three imps jumped off Abram's coat. Two of them ran at Target Lad and another jumped right up into Ravenick's face.

Another psychic shockwave rocked the walls of the hallway out even more than the last one had. They weren't getting wider... they were getting stronger.

((Hey, what exactly do your psychic shockwaves do? Like, do they actually move stuff around and all that, or is it just like a wide radius of mind games? For lack of better wording.))

Ravenick sliced the imp in two, the energy within the imp missed Ravenicks head as he covered his face with his magic armor glove
"you cant win, leave with your life while you still can!" Ravenick said, holding both swords out

Shinji and Ry stopped at the sound of the shockwave. They glanced at each other for a second, then realizing what the other was thinking, each of them headed off in the direction of the sound.

Not too long after, they stopped at the sight of Abram, Ravenick, and Target Lad.

"Who should we help out?" Ry asked.

"How about we help out no one?" Shin replied.

"Sounds good to me."

A quick teleport and Shinji was in Abram's face, bringing an electricly charged snap kick toward Abram's jaw.

Not wanting to be shown up by his brother, Ry, seemingly coming out of nowhere, went for Target Lad with an energy charged skullpunch.

((Hey Yosef? Danny/Target Lad's a modestly-athletic, small-for-his-age-13-year-old. It's not likely that he'd dislocate Abram's jaw with his blow- the only real damage comes from his fairly potent electrical powers))

Target Lad doubled over as his precognition treated him to a brief preview of his skull being crushed by Ry's blow. This, in turn, caused Ry's fist to skate off Target Lad's electrical armour, turning the skullpunch into a solid cuff upside the head and adding some genuine pain to accompany the prescient spike of agony (and the thumping headache the repeated psychic shockwaves were causing).

Of course, the kid with the bow doubling over meant that the imp that had been lunging for his face went sailing over his head and straight into Ry's face... and the one that had been jumping for Danny's chest ended up cradled like a baby, at least briefly.

The little archer paused from shaking his head, trying to clear the ringing in his ears, and made a startled noise as the presence of the imp registered. Then a nasty smile skittered across his face, and he hunched tighter, clamping the squirming not-quite-creature tight and beginning to glow a brilliant shade of blue.

Arcs of electrical power grounded themselves all around the young Blaster, a rippling cascade of lightning as the imp writhed in his shocking grasp, caged on all sides by roaring torrents of electricity and stabbed through with raw power. Satisfied that it had been dealt with, Target Lad whirled to face the new aggressor... assuming he hadn't gotten himself good and zapped when TL went all Zeus on the imp, anyways.
