Better Bases and Gardens

Hello all, and welcome to the Scoop's newest section "Better Bases and
Gardens." Every month, we will search the worlds of CoH and CoV for the most
unique and creative room designs. Pictures of the different rooms will appear
in the Scoop. It is my hope that this will inspire base builders both new and
old.

Need to relax after a long day of fighting crime? Well look no further. I give
you
The Pub
created by CaptA.

How long have you been doing base design?

Since Issue 6 went live. I started playing around with base design immediately,
and in fact, it was the reason I paid for CoV.

What inspired you to create this?

This room was the first added after my first plot upgrade (to 8x12). It is a
3x4 workshop and originally was for SO storage. We also needed a place to hang
out between missions. I used to homebrew, and I decided that our base needed a
brewery and pub. Every room I design has a decorative function in addition to
the actual function of the room.

How did you make this room?

It was already in my head long before I laid it down on the plot. The only
thing "unique" about it at the time was using banners to spell out words. That
was a new trick in Summer 2006.

How long did it take you to do this room?

Probably a few hours. I had to fiddle with the lighting, coloring, and textures
for a while before I was happy.

Can you give us any hints as to what your next room will be?

I'd love to be able to put in the top tier power item, but it will be quite
some time before I can afford it.

If you could make any type of room you wanted in a base. What would it be?

I would like a room that would resemble a train station/submarine bay/hangar
that could be modified to do what the teleporters do. From a logic standpoint,
two beacons per teleporter make little sense. A variety of vehicles or even a
super-teleporter that goes to any zone would be cool.

You can find this amazing room as part of The Infinity Legion base. Hero-Side,
Freedom server.

Next up, I'm glad to bring you a place where up and coming super heroes can
learn to be all that they can be. I bring you
The School Room
created by Baisleac.

How long have you been doing base design?

My first attempt at base design was September '07.

What inspired you to create this?

The Mouseion at Alexandria is a recreation of the original Library of
Alexandria. It needed as many bookshelves as I could stuff in one base.

How did you make this room?

Lots of patience and magic desks (there's a stickied thread in the base
building forum).

How long did it take you to do this room?

Approximately four hours.

Can you give us any hints as to what your next room will be?

Actually, just added a tech workshop, storage room off of the medbay. It'll be
a while before we can expand the plot size so this is it for a while.

If you could make any type of room you wanted in a base. What would it be?

I can pretty much create any type of room already. There are decorative items
that would make it easier, but the imagination is limitless.

You can find this lovely room as part of Mouseion at Alexandria base.

Go. Hunt. Get Badge.

In the darkest parts of Paragon City and the Rogue Islands, a horror that
strains the imagination lurks. Primal forces gather to threaten this world and
all who live in it. Collectively, this threat is known as the Banished
Pantheon.

What to look for to get the badge:

Spirit of Death

four types of Corrupt Spirits (masks), the Spirits of Death take joy in
anyone's demise, be they friend of foe. Once they've become focused on a
victim, they become single-minded in their attacks and cannot be distracted.
They will even destroy themselves if it means defeating their opponent of
choice.

Spirit of Desire

Another of the four types of Corrupt Spirits, the Spirits of Desire feed upon
greed, avarice and the loss of control that comes with overwhelming need. They
like to flood an area with telepathic imagery, confusing and even damaging
opponents with visions of their greatest desires.

Spirit of Pain

The Spirits of Pain, a third type of Corrupt Spirit, delight in agony and
misery. They particularly delight in the pain that they dish out by projecting
blasts of pure destruction at their enemies.

Spirit of Sorrow

The final Corrupt Spirit, the Spirits of Sorrow, thrive on sadness and
depression. Those spirits project blasts of unadulterated sorrow that explode
in life-sapping bursts, seeping the will and life force from anyone caught in
the explosion.

Notable missions for heroes

"Stop
both groups of mystic madmen
" (Spirit Warrior badge mission) and the "Wheel
of Destruction
" arc are both available from the following contacts:

Where to hunt for heroes

The absolute best place to hunt is Talos Island near Dark Astoria at (in-game)
night. Hunting during the Halloween event is even better because Paragon City
is in perpetual nightfall. With three people, you should get thirty masks per
night cycle.

Talos Island map

Dark Astoria has a couple of places for masks, but far too sparsely populated
to consider. The area near the Talos Island gate has a route to hunt, but it is
not an easy to navigate. The park in the far corner usually has a couple of
masks, but it is hardly worth the effort.

Dark Astoria map

Notable missions for villains

There is only one mission, and it is not a very good one:
Diviner Maros's
"Steal
the Scroll of Tielekku
," and as it is not a badge mission or a part of
a story arc, it is not available through the flashback system. In addition, the
mission holder has to be exactly level 25, and on villainous. The mission
holder has to enter the mission first, and then invite any others that want to
join. Sound complicated? It is.

Save yourself a lot of hassle, form a team, and street hunt.

Where to hunt for villains

Sharkhead Isle is probably your best option. Masks are found in Potter's Field
and the surrounding area, on the beaches and in the graveyard.

Shark Head Island map

Where to hunt for both villains and heroes:

Bloody Bay, while being a Player vs Player (PVP) zone, does not see a lot of
activity, so you are probably safe. One to two masks per spawn group, and your
best place to look is on the cliffs above the far eastern beach. If you get a
group (one faction only, as this is a PVP zone) you can take them down faster,
and clear debt or get influence faster as the zone auto-exemplars you to level
25.

Bloody Bay map

Tip

Make a macro to find the spirits easier.

/macro hunt "targetcustomnext Spirit"

Or you can bind the above to a key in the following manner.

/bind "targetcustomnext Spirit"

Replacing "" with the key of your choice.

Summary

If you are a hero, you have many options to get the badge, which is a good
thing given that it is required for an accolade. For villains, I would suggest
street hunting Sharkhead Isle or Bloody Bay.

A question that comes up a lot on the forums is if the walking tiki totems
count towards the Banisher badge. They do not.

Point / Counterpoint

This is the thirteenth in a series of Point/Counterpoint articles, which will
review commonly requested player suggestions, and review the pros and cons of
those suggestions.

This week’s subject – Hirable assistants

POINT:

For some players, the team building tools do not adequately address their
desire to find, build, or join teams quickly, and therefore find team forming
to be too time consuming. Sometimes, a particular character type is not
available, or the time of day when fewer players are active increases the
likelihood of slower team forming. Certain content is much more enjoyable when
done with a larger team, and some content requires a minimum team size to
start. For those instances where players want to team, but are unable to do so,
an interesting alternative may be in game hirable NPCs. Since in mission NPCs
already exist, and temporary powers that summon NPCs exist, it should be a
reasonable extension that devs could provide NPCs on demand for players.

Hirable NPCs could be done in numerous ways. If the intention were to be
providing near equivalent ability characters for hire, then an area, like Hero
Corp, could be selected where character would go to hire these NPCs. From this
area, a series of selection criteria, perhaps AT, or power sets, level,
duration of service, etc., would be determined by the player, and then a
randomly generated NPC (like those used in Mayhem and Safeguard missions) would
be added to the team. It is also possible that hirable NPCs would be somewhat
less powerful overall, like Longbow members instead of Heroes, and Arachnos
members instead of Villains. It is also possible that you would be able to
build or buy temporary powers, which summon NPCs, similar to existing summon
power. No matter what form they might take, renewable, easy to access NPCs can
provide players with the additional characters that traditional teaming options
have failed to provide.

COUNTERPOINT:

There are some negatives associated with hirable assistants. The more NPC
teaming options there are, the less reason there is to form teams of real
people. One of the fundamental parts of the MMO experience is teaming with
other people. It is possible that team-necessary content is design specifically
because of this. Further, some of the worst kinds of solo behavior could be
encouraged. Farming becomes easier if you can self pad missions. The idea of
the buff bot becomes a reality, either hiring one, or hiring an NPC and the
player being the bot. Depending on the abilities of the hirable NPCs, it may
well be that the NPC is overcoming the challenge of the content more often than
the player.

Perhaps a better solution is to increase the team forming tools available to
players. Adding the ability to Look For Members when a team is actively seeking
to increase their team size, or the ability to form a team of players all
presently seeking to team with an insta-form team option. These are just two of
the ways teaming could be made easier and faster. Other options include adding
more temporary powers or hirable NPCs, but added such that to obtain them
requires significantly more effort than simply walking to a specified location.
Shivans already use this format, and while Shivans are a powerful ally, they
are not used as casual team increasers for common missions.

The Top Ten

Most Likely Being Said During a Taunt

Sure, all we hear on our end is "Ahhh!" Yet it is plain as day to see that
there is more to it than that. I mean there's no way "Ahhhh!" makes seven guys
all decide you’re the one worth beating the tar out of. So here's what I figure
are the things most likely being said:

Number 10: "Trading Influence for punches in the face!"

Number 9: "Sure you’re dressed like an Outcast, but you hit
like a Hellion!"

Number 8: "You fight like Badge!" (Joke applies to Protector
server only)

Number 7: "My coffee has more kick than that!"

Number 6: "I got a fiver that says even the Blaster outlives
you!"

Number 5: "You guys want some speakers? Come here. I know a
guy..."

Number 4: "Are you supposed to look like that or was there
another hero here before me?"

Number 3: "If you can beat me, they'll promote you to Elite
Boss!"

Number 2: "I stole all your cupcakes! Nyah nyah nyah nyah
nyah!"

And the Number one thing most likely being said during a taunt
is, "Last week's /em Smack? Yeah that was about YOU!"

Unjustice League vs. The Renegades

While the Test Villain Ladder may seem occasionally overshadowed by the more
populated Hero Ladder, it contains a dedicated portion of villain players who
are eager to do something different in a sphere without restrictive teams like
“jump” and “storm” teams..

Tonight we have the Renegades, around on Test since last August. Unjustice
League, their opponents, have been participating for the same length of time.

From what I’ve been able to gather, villain PvP teams consist of Corruptors,
Masterminds and Stalkers. The Corruptors feed off Scourge for the kills while
Masterminds allow for decoys for targeting while also providing some kills.
Stalkers will attack pets such as Protector Bots to disable Mastermind
capacities.

I had the opportunity to tag up with @Raz, one of The Renegades’ leaders along
with @SpectralPhantom:

“The Renegades have been around as a test PvP group since August. We are
undefeated and this is our fourth match and second against UJL. We love villain
PvP because it’s fresh and dynamic. There are no ‘jump teams.’ We are always
exploring new techniques and strategies. The villain ladder is really starting
to pick up pace and we’d like to see it grow as much as possible.

“Our signature move is the ‘Maximum Donkey Punch.’ Maximum DPing is key to our
success. We practice it on a regular basis.”

If that isn’t a statement about the ins and outs of victory, I don’t know what
is, folks!

Golden Bud of UJL echoed Raz’s comments on the versatility of villain PvP:

“Villain PvP is more complicated, in my opinion, than hero PvP. More stuff to
do for everyone, more versatility of teams, more of a role of buffs and
debuffs, etc. Buffers aren’t just buffers, they buff and trow ice…and spikes
are more complicated due to AS (Assassin Strike) being a necessary component.”

I headed to the Port Oakes Arena early Sunday evening to witness the match, not
really knowing what to expect since my exposure to villain PvP is limited at
best. From the villains gathered there, the Poison secondary for Masterminds
was on heavy display. Among Corruptors, there was a good mix of Kinetics and
Thermal…not very visible were Cold Domination or Radiation Emission Corruptors.
I saw several Stalkers, including Super Reflexes, Energy Aura and Ninjutsu
secondaries in the Arena enclave while teams gathered, proving Golden Bud and
Raz’s points about diversity.

Match One loaded into the Steel Canyon map. Visible from the start were a
variety of Mastermind pets, including Robots and Thugs. Death Penalty got an
early kill on Max the Mastermind but the large amount of pets made things
interesting and somewhat confusing for your reporter. The slower moving pets
contrasted sharply with their owners superspeeding and superleaping over
obstacles.

Around the 5:00 mark, Mad the Impaler scored a kill on his Stalker counterpart
Death Penalty, who again defeated Max the Mastermind a few seconds later.
Interestingly, the Stalkers seem to go after a series of pets (perhaps to
weaken their owner’s capacities) before going for the final strike. While all
this is going on, Corruptors zip around buffing and setting up spikes with some
well-timed damage.

The Renegades took Match One 5-2, scoring with Death Penalty (4) and More Dots
(1) while Mad the Impaler (1) and Black Bambi (1) answered for UJL.

Match Two loaded into the Lab Map, with most of the action in the central area.
Acidz1 of The Renegades spent part of the match rebuffing with Sonic Shields
while occasionally caging a Mastermind, while being caged himself in return.

Robots and Thug henchmen fought a heated battle while Sonic Corruptors such as
Wasp Heaven isolated their targets. Occasionally, a well-timed Assassin Strike
took out important pets like Protector Bots or even a player, as when Death
Penalty scored a kill on Black Bambi toward the end of the match.

The Renegades took Match Two 13-1, with kills by -MaXimum1 (5), Death Penalty
(4), Deconstructed (2) Screaming Catgirl (1) and -Spec (1) to Jyst1’s lone kill
for UJL.

With the win, Renegades climb up a spot into second place, behind VORI, while
UJL drops a spot to third place.

Thanks to both teams for an inside look at Villain PvP, a different and
challenging beast allowing for a variety of builds. Besides, who doesn’t want
to defeat other players using gangsters and killer robots?

Base Showcase

The Alliance Of Quasi-Heroes

Who is your base designer and who are
your supergroup leaders?

It is a Super Group of one, so I guess I am wearing all the hats at the moment

Which server is your base on, and is it a Hero or Villain SG/VG?

Freedom, Hero side.

hen was your supergroup established?

February ’07.

How many players are in your supergroup?

One.

What is the approximate value of your base?

Approximately 4.5 Mil.

How much time do you spend working on your base? How much time have you
invested so far?

Over the last year or so, I would guess about 100 hours. For every extra bit of
prestige I earned, there was a new toy to work into the base.

What is your favorite base item? Least favorite?

My favorite would be the Autonomous Expert System. It just looks cool. My least
favorite would be the Tech Alembic Tanks. Just haven't found a useful
application for them.

What is your favorite thing about base editing? Least favorite?

My favorite would be just trying to see what other crazy idea I can come up
with next. -Least favorite would be having to clean up all the used desks out
of the base.

What is the highest thing on your wish-list for new base items?

Turbine Generator

If you could give just one piece of advice to a new base editor, what would
it be?

Take your time, read the boards, join the base builders chat channel. And above
all, ask for help. There is usually someone who would be able to come by and
give you a hand should you be stuck.

Cookie
Cookie Cookie Starts with...C!

Alright, it’s time to live up to my name as "Guardian's Cookie Mistress." I
know we all love cookies. Remember the days when our mom and grandma used to
bake us cookies? Heck, I bet some still even do! This issue is for you!

But first...

*hands Ullikummis a napkin* Um, Ulli you can't eat your computer!

Poor Ulli, always wanting cookies. He is our blue fuzzy cookie monster on
Guardian, and we love you Ulli. I wrote this special edition with him and
everyone else in mind that loves my silly cookies, so enjoy!

Rogue Isles Repast

Greetings again, Villains and Vigilantes, Heroes and Heroines, and other
general pains in the neck. It's your old friend, Jenna Seidel, back from an
extended “Family Reunion.” If you really want to know, I've been taking care of
my older sister, after a really nasty year. She was kidnapped by a homicidal
toy maker, no one you know, and left for dead. Because of the trauma, she ended
up leaving her job and breaking up with the only man she ever truly loved.
She's been a mess. By the way, Gill, if you read this, Sara's in San Francisco
and would love to hear from you.

Anywho, I may have grown up on the West Coast, but it's the food of the Etoil
Isle that my stomach calls home. One of the first places I stopped was this
little hot dog stand in the Nerva Archipelago called “Nick’s Delicious
Weenies.” You know the one I'm talking about—it's on the dock where the Black
Line helicopter docks. There's a Fateweaver there, named Fortunata Jennie and
her brother Mike is the Magic enhancement seller. Well, the guy who sells the
mutant enhancements is Nick, and it's his hot dog stand. It is a little known
fact that it is the only other place in the Rogue Isles where heroes and
villains coexist. But it's an uneasy truce, over hot dogs.

Nick loves his dogs and loves to make dogs. He has plain dogs, Chicago style
dogs, Coney Island dogs, Californian dogs and dogs that are named after the
biggest names in the Rogue Isles. Order the “Lord Recluse” and you get a Polish
Sausage on a poppy seed bun with sauerkraut and grilled onions and mustard. A
“Black Scorpion” features everything, a half pound dog with chili, mustard,
relish, onions, bacon, tomato slices, coleslaw, celery salt, and a kosher
pickle. The “Scirocco” is a cleverly disguised falafel sandwich on a bun with
tomatoes, lettuce, fresh onions and tzatziki. No one but Captain Mako or one of
the Coralax would ever eat the dog named after him, but Nick keeps raw seafood
on hand, just in case. It's too nasty to talk about, but I will most likely end
up being chased by land sharks for making the comments I have.

Nick's has its share of urban legends as well. The story goes that two Wolf
Spiders were on a lunch break one day. One ordered a “Lord Recluse” and the
other stated “I love that dog, but it gives me 'Ghost Widows.'” It is commonly
held that he was referring to “Silent but Deadly” emissions, but no one ever
heard from him again. Never evoke G-Dub's name and bodily functions—any fool
can tell you that. (She's my patron, I can call her that.)

The “Coney Island” chili, which is different from the Texas chili, is one of
Nick’s favorites. It's hand made every day, and he was actually willing to part
with the recipe. The other recipe he gave me was for a savory coleslaw that is
great on the Coney dog and gives it a more “Coastal Carolinas” flare. For a
real Coney Island treat, try this chili with mustard on a plain bun, or eat the
chili on a hamburger bun with American or cheddar cheese for a great “sloppy
Joe.”

Nick's Coney Island Chili

Legend states that this topping was copied from the sauce that was featured at
the New York Worlds Fair in the 1960s.

    [*]
1 pound of lean ground beef[*]
    ½ medium onion diced[*]
    salt and pepper to taste[*]
    1 cup of ketchup[*]
    1 cup of BBQ sauce[*]
    1 cup of water
Brown the meat in a large skillet. Add the onions and cooking until they are
golden and translucent (you can kind of see through them). Season with salt and
pepper. Add the ketchup, BBQ sauce and water. Simmer on low/medium-low heat
    until thick. Re-season if necessary

Nick's Savory Coleslaw

    [*]
1 head of green cabbage shredded[*]
½ head of red cabbage shredded[*]
    3 medium carrots shredded[*]
    3 green onions shredded[*]
1 cup of mayonnaise or salad dressing[*]
    ½ teaspoon of celery seed[*]
    juice of ½ a lemon[*]
    ½ teaspoon of horseradish[*]
    salt and pepper to taste
Place the vegetables in a large mixing bowl. Salt and pepper. Mix the
mayonnaise, celery seed, lemon juice and horseradish in a small bowl. Mix the
dressing with the vegetables and set for an hour refrigerated.

Bonus Recipes

Lady C’s Villainous Snickers Pie

    [*]
1 Oreo Cookie pre-made pie crust[*]
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, slightly softened[*]
    3 cups powdered sugar[*]
    1 pint half and half[*]
12 oz. pkg. semisweet chocolate chips[*]
    1/2 cup butter[*]
    1 tsp. vanilla[*]
1 cup salted peanuts or Almonds, chopped, if desired[*]
    Caramel sundae sauce
Start with a pre-made cookie (preferably Oreo) Pie Shell. These are easily found
in the baking section of any local grocery store. Top with scoops of softened
vanilla ice cream. Spread ice cream gently into an even layer. If desired,
sprinkle peanuts or almonds over ice cream. Place in freezer.

In large saucepan, combine powdered sugar, half and half, chocolate chips and
butter. Bring to a boil. Lower heat and cook, stirring constantly, for 6-8
minutes until thickened. Remove from heat and add vanilla; stir to blend. Let
    sauce cool completely.

Pour sauce over peanuts and return pan to freezer. Cover and freeze for 4-6
hours until firm. When serving, take simple store bought caramel sundae sauce
and drizzle over the dessert get as messy as you want!

Skewered Jerk Kebabs

The spice level of this dish is mild. For hotter taste, you can leave the seeds
in the jalapeno pepper.

    [*]
    1 teaspoon whole allspice[*]
    1 teaspoon black peppercorns[*]
    4 whole cloves[*]
    1/4 cup packed brown sugar[*]
    1/4 cup fresh lime juice[*]
    1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce[*]
    2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce[*]
    2 teaspoons paprika[*]
    2 teaspoons dried thyme leaves[*]
    8 garlic cloves[*]
3 large shallots, peeled and cut in half[*]
1 (3-inch) piece peeled fresh ginger, thinly sliced[*]
1 jalapeno pepper, halved and seeded[*]
2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch pieces[*]
2 cups (1-inch) cubed pineapple (about 1 medium)[*]
1 1/2 cups (1-inch) pieces red bell pepper (about 1 large)[*]
1 1/2 cups (1-inch) pieces green bell pepper (about 1 large)[*]
    1 teaspoon salt[*]
    1/2 teaspoon black pepper[*]
    Cooking spray
Heat a small skillet over medium-high heat. Add allspice, black peppercorns,
and cloves to pan; cook for 1 minute or until lightly toasted and fragrant.

Place spices, brown sugar, lime juice, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce,
paprika, dried thyme leaves, garlic cloves, shallots, ginger, and the jalapeno
pepper in a blender; process until smooth. Combine spice mixture and chicken in
a large zip-top plastic bag; seal and marinate in refrigerator 2 hours, turning
    occasionally.

    Prepare grill.

Remove chicken from bag, reserving marinade. Thread chicken, pineapple, and
bell peppers alternately onto each of 8 (12-inch) skewers. Brush reserved
marinade onto pineapple and bell peppers. Sprinkle evenly with salt and pepper.
Place kebabs on a grill rack coated with cooking spray. Grill 8 minutes or
    until chicken is done.

Horoscopes

Blaster
(Aquarius)

Beginning of new cycle

Transiting Mercury Conjunct Natal Sun

Feeling more mentally alert, your thinking processes will be much clearer
during these few days. You will now be able to impress superiors who will be
impressed with your enthusiasm, initiative, and ability to cope under pressure.
If you have something important to say, then now is the time to get that
message across. Expect to make or receive numerous telephone calls or letters.

Brute
(Virgo)

Transiting Venus Sextile Natal Pluto

A sudden love interest could be intense and electric, but with little chance of
developing into a long lasting relationship. Powerful positive thoughts could
bring positive results.

Controller
(Pisces)

Transiting Sun Conjunct Natal Sun

Happy Birthday! Even though it may be a few days away from your calendar
birthday, today the sun returns to the same zodiac position as on your actual
birthday. This is the start of your new astrological year, a time of change and
new beginnings. With the sun representing ego, this is a day of self importance
and wanting to be the focus of attention. It is also usually a day of
celebration, gifts and surprises. Over the next few days would be an excellent
time to make plans for the forthcoming year.

Corrupter
(Libra)

Transiting Venus Square Natal Venus

Beware financial extravagance over the next few days. Personal and love
relationships may also find themselves in the firing line, you could be the
victim of a misunderstanding, or someone you love and trust could now be trying
to take advantage in some way.

Defender
(Aries)

Transiting Venus Sextile Natal Sun

Feeling confident, optimistic and outgoing, this should be an excellent time
for being with friends and loved ones. Business negotiations should go well as
should meetings or job interviews on a one-to-one basis. A good impression will
be made.

Dominator
(Scorpio)

Transiting Venus Opposite Natal Jupiter

If you do not want to overspend your budget during this time, then keep a tight
hold on your purse strings. Too many late nights coupled with too much food and
alcoholic beverages may leave you feeling somewhat drained.

Mastermind
(Sagittarius)

Transiting Venus Sextile Natal Mercury

Feeling sociable and easy-going, this would be a great day for a lazy
get-together with good friends, loved ones, and family. You may talk of times
gone by and dream together of the future. Problems with loved ones can be
talked through.

Peacebringer
(Taurus)

Transiting Mercury Trine Natal Sun

Practical, common sense combined with clear, logical thought should enable you
to make well ordered, positive and constructive plans for the future. Having
planned all the intricate pieces of your life, and then slotted them in a
rational order, you should now be able to see the whole picture of what is
ahead, rather like completing a jigsaw puzzle in your mind. However, this is
not the time for radical changes, it is more a time to prepare the groundwork
and build a firm foundation for the future.

Scrapper
(Gemini)

Transiting Sun Square Natal Sun

You have reached a crossroad, a professional or personal watershed. You will
now need to decide which path to follow next. However, disruptions are likely,
especially if your thoughts and actions are constantly challenged. Try to keep
your temper despite the fact that plans may change time and time again.

Stalker
(Capricorn)

Transiting Sun Square Natal Saturn

Although your confidence may be easily shattered today, try not to wallow in
pity and self doubt and do not go out of your way looking for trouble or
worrying about situations that have not even happened yet!

Tanker
(Cancer)

Transiting Mercury Sextile Pluto

Looking for a deeper meaning to your life, you will now rely more on intuition
rather than logic. This would also be an excellent time to become involved in
any kind of investigation or research. Not content with superficial answers,
you will delve deeper in search of the truth.

Warshade
(Leo)

Transiting Neptune Opposite Natal Mercury

All areas of communication may be rather confused and disjointed around this
time. If troublesome misunderstandings are to be avoided, you must both listen
carefully and state your own case as clearly as possible. Absentmindedness and
forgetfulness could cause further problems.

"Like, I have always SOOO wanted to meet you! And now we can like, totally
fight together and all sorts of stuff. All the other Fortunatas were all
TOTALLY like 'Tarantula Program? Eeew!' And then they were like, 'Like, what
are you thinking, Becky?' And I was totally like 'I'll get to meet all kinds of
interesting people and stuff.' And look, here I am, like, totally fighting
alongside YOU! This is even better then when I worked with Silver Mantis.
She's, like, totally uptight, until you get to know her, y'know? But this is
