Procrastination FTL
Wow! <o_o> I like that quite a bit honestly <^,^> But then 3 years in the making, it has to be good right?
Its tough to get the energy to draw consistently though <x.x> My muse as it were, is a restless mind and a catgirl named Yumii <@,o> She beats me if I don't draw her <;_;> I am an abused artist.
PS: The artist doesn't really mind this abuse.
PPS: Seriously, great pic <@_@> You should do moar!

oh and um.. .the turkey is done! lol
Very nice!
Not every project gets to be 'finished' in a short amount of time. Star Wars went twenty years in an 'unfinished' state according to Mr. Lucas, and when he got around to updating it it arguably was worse off in some ways. What you have going right now is really good.
I've got a work in progress for over 2 years now, imagined over 3 years ago, and I never work on it because it's just not high enough on my priority list (things like Ouroboros, Mass Effect, Rock Band, Angband are higher). I need to figure out what Hellion clothing actually looks like, and I have to finish off all the celtic patterning, and I have to fill in the details of the brick alley setting, and I dislike how I've drawn the hair. And I need to figure out what I want to do for a scanner if just photos aren't enough. And I need to figure out what I want to do for image hosting if my website is gone as I suspect it is. It's all so annoying to deal with.
It's kinda blocking my queue (if one other piece for Speedy can constitute a queue).
Well done, the robot forearm is very cool looking!
I started a sketch for my blaster (who is now deleted and her name stolen by my thermal) about, um, 3 years ago.I meant to finish it and instead just ended up leaving it in a box to be forgotten and eventually lost.
I found an old, horribly un-detailed scan from back before I lost it, and it just sat around on my pc again forgotten.
Last Christmas I got an art pad and dug up the old scan to doodle on.I wanted to see what kind of shading I could do in photoshop now that I wasn't stuck using a mouse.
After about 15 minutes I kind of liked the way it turned out and since then have spent maybe 15-20 minutes every 3 months or so on the piece.
The original scan was too small to really get a lot of detail out of, and some parts needed to be redrawn because the scan didn't pick them up.
I again forgot about the project off and on, because lets face it, I suck at completing anything.
Yesterday I decided to finally "finish" it, well as best I could anyways with the small size.
Anywho This is how it turned out.
I really wish I was better about seeing a project to the end.And I particularly would have preferred working on something I could truly finish and not have to just give up and toss a background on because I am getting frustrated with my limitations on details.
I need a muse.A big shiny magical muse.Well that and to not be lazy and easily distracted.
