In honor of my 3rd anniversary of playing City of Heroes, more specifically having the character Fan-Fania, I am holding an art contest. So here's the info:
What do I draw?
My character, Fan-Fania, in any fight scene, or "static" pose you choose. You can feature her with a character of your own, or another character you know of, be it DC or Marvel or CoH. You pretty much have freedom to do whatever; the only requirement is that Fan be involved.
What can I win?
1st Prize:
- A Permanent Feature on my Shoutboard
- A one-year subscription to deviantArt
- ONE of the following:
*A Game Time card of your choice
*Any $25-30 sketch from any artist you choose. This can also be multiple sketches that total to $30. I have a few good artists in mind if you want suggestions and examples.
2nd Prize:
- A 6 month feature on my Shoutboard
- A 6 month subscription to deviantART
- A sketch done by me
3rd Prize:
- A 3 month feature on my Shoutboard
- A 3 month subscription to deviantART
When can I submit?
Between November 1-30. No sooner, no later.

DO NOT POST ON YOUR DA PAGE UNTIL JUDGING IS COMPLETED. I will be uploading all entries to my own account and assigning them a number. The entries will be edited to reveal the artists' name ONLY when the results are finalized.
How will you choose the winner?
I will post all entries on my dA journal, then set up a poll. Through the first two weeks of December, voting will be open to the general public. If you do not have a dA account, sign up. If you don't want to sign up, e-mail your vote to pojfanny@gmail.com. If you don't want to do any of that.... go away.
I have tried to set up prizes so that anyone can enter, even if they are not a dA member, or don't have a character to be drawn. The prizes will likely change as time progresses and I see what I can and can't do. If you are an artist who would like to contribute a free sketch for a prize, then please drop me a note and we'll talk.
