Foodie PvPLady K vs Jenna Seidel It's been two years since the biggest breakout in the history of the Ziggurat Correctional Facility. Around the same time, the mysterious DJ Zero closed the famous Paragon Dance Club, expanding this pocket dimension to include the Etoil Isles, and, eventually a Swiss ski chalet, a tiki bar, an arena, a Monkey Fight Club, and two editions of The Vault Reserve. Who is this DJ Zero? What is "Pocket D?" Most importantly, what kind of food is available? Super Secret Diner: Pocket D, Blue side. Whether you enter the lobby of Pocket D from Kings Row, Faultline, Founders' Falls or Talos Island, you are greeted by friendly host who either welcomes you or warns you about the dangers beyond the other doors. One short elevator ride takes you to the famous glass floor club where the influential and the infamous can rub elbows with each other and the common folk. Recently, "The Blue Side," called that because of the blue neon, has become host to a beautiful new arena facility within a very strange villainous tradition: the Rikti Monkey Fight Club (MFC). Before, the Blue Side was most noted for being a hangout for the fully corporeal War Witch. Many heroes and villains would go up to the second floor balcony to chat with the recently diseased hero, getting her take on life, the universe and everything in between. As food goes, other than the typical bar grub, fried food and burger sliders, the Blue Side is rather tame. However, I always caution anyone from eating in the MFC because it seems like the Rikti monkeys are kept in that venue's kitchen. So unless you are a Regen, an Invuln, or have a friend who's an Emp or a Rad, I would not eat there. Continued next page.. |

Heroscopes
When you set out on an adventure, you will encounter obstacles. This is perfectly natural, and one of the reasons it's so exciting. Don't turn back.
Being passionate is lots of fun, but caution is advised. The costs may be higher than anticipated. Don't make expensive promises.
Some of your secret hopes and dreams are difficult to express. That's okay. Don't talk about them yet. Start working on your plans. Blaster (Scorpio) - Moon conjunct Sun invigorates you today, bringing feelings to the surface. You're a natural businessperson and conditions have been in your favor. Don't get cocky and fall for a trick. The caution flag is out now. Tanker (Aquarius) - Mars conjunct Jupiter instills a harmony between your dynamic self and your spirituality. Neptune conjunct Venus fills you with a desire for beauty and harmony, stimulating your creativity and imagination yet making you prone to delusions. The Dragon Master expects a fee for what you've just acquired. S/He thinks you stole it, even though you found it fair and square. Make a token offering and boogie out of there.
Odds are good you can get more money. Take on more responsibility. Also, let someone in authority know you're in line for a promotion. But don't shop like you have it yet.
The Ghost of Past Dilemmas haunts recently started projects. There may be other delays and setbacks. Can you wait another two weeks? If not, just watch where you're going. | Villainscopes
Okay, so you aren't sure what to do. How scary is that? Not very. Start doing some research beforehand. Corrupter (Sagittarius) - Jupiter conjunct Mercury confers foresight to you. Check out those suspicions, they're apt to be accurate. There's something not quite right about something you're being told.
As you may know, communication is not verbal. A lot of it comes from looks, gestures, hugs and other actions. Conditions are great for that stuff.
A private consultation with friends is in order. Together, you can separate fact from fantasy in your business negotiations. Get some objective observers involved. ~Handwritten page found laying atop the Horoscope submission~ Whatever... Villain Horrorscopes...Brute - Oh grow up. Mastermind - I heard a rumor about a great deal that'll make you rich. Shh, don't tell anyone else. Corrupter - The stars don't like you this week. Can't say I blame them. Dominator - Give us a hug dear. What knife? Stalker - People, friends, co-workers; it's unanimous. No one likes you. Heroes...Controller - Run troller, run! Defender - That snazzy new costume doesn't make up for your inadequacies. Scrapper - Yes love, you're right and your friends are wrong. The smoke detector is an appropriate dinner timer. Blaster - It's called Stamina. Look into it. Tanker - Yes dear, your dog was right, that defender last night was hitting on you. Peacebringer - For some reason, all your friends and loved ones want to kill you. Whatever you did, it was a doozey. Warshade - Life is like a box of chocolates. If you've left it out in the sun too long. ~Love and Kisses ~Scorn |

Special Event: Halloween (October 22 - November 4)
In anticipation for the Halloween Event, I thought I would prepare all the Trick-or-Treaters a little badge treat. There are times in the "City of" universe that are just special, and the Halloween Event is one of the best of these times. It first appeared in 2004, skipped 2005, and reappeared in 2006. We already know that this year's event will be bigger than last year.
What is so special about the event?
Well, for one thing, it marks a few weeks of endless nighttime. This means that critters that only come out at night are easier to get. Council Vampyri are plentiful in Striga, and can be found on the rooftops in Nerva. Circle of Thorns magi can be found at ground level in Kings Row. Banished Pantheon's Spirit Masks can be found all the time between the Dark Astoria and Founders' Falls gate. Vahzilok will be more plentiful in Faultline, which is useful for the Numina's Task Force and Grave Robber badge.
The exception is Caleb, the Circle of Thorns spectral demon giant monster in Nerva. He appears to be on the same time schedule, so you will have to kill the Nerva Spectral Demons and pay attention to in-game time.
Of course, people will be banging on doors, expecting candy. They might get tier 3 inspirations, a rock, one of a number of costumes, event salvage that can combine to get an additional costume slot, or they might be attacked. Being attacked is a good thing though, as several badges are available to those who defeat the monsters.
What badges are available?
New for this year:
Clothes horse - 10 costumes
Fashionable badge - 25 costumes
Ostentatious - 50 costumes
When you get a costume drop, it will increase your count for these badges. If the game selects a costume that has already been given to a character, the game will not tell you. It will still count, though. Each costume is available for thirteen days.
These costume drops range from Banished Pantheons to Council to Freakshow to Warriors. Thirty-three costumes in all.
Returning originals:
Hunter (20 vampires)
Buster (20 ghosts)
Shifter (15 werewolves)
Dead Head (50 zombies)
Malleus (75 witches)
Hallow Spirit (Halloween Eochai)
Returning from last year:
Iron Warrior (Halloween Jack in Irons)
Ghost Touched (20 of the Unseelie Court)
It is important to note that defeating the regular versions of any of these returning tricksters will not give progress to these badges. In addition, none of these badges have progress bars.
Are there any tips to hunt these critters?
Form groups and pay attention to your server's badge channel. See my targeting guide for macros to target any of the above critters. None of these badges are especially tough to get, just time consuming. You will need to pay attention and have a team to get the Iron Warrior badge.

Happy Halloween everyone!
