The Future Is Mayhem ((Open RP))
Panzerfrau turned to regard the creature speaking to her. Wrapped in her forcefield as she was, the thing couldn't harm her. Still, being caught alone and without henchman of any sort made her uneasy.
"Da. You go avay and I don't blast you."

Twilight laughed and shook his head. "Ah-ah-ah, you wouldn't want to go around threatening us in your obviously weakened state..." He said this after wagging a finger at her. "Under normal circumstances we can see that shield holding and you even harming us. But after a spectacular crash such as that..." He laughed again, though a more sinister one this time, as black tendrils began to drape over the top of the shield. The did not attack or move, only hung ominously. Twilight sensed her anger, her frustration, and her want of vengeance. But this was not toward the Resistance this last feeling, no....Someone on the other side. "We have an offer of sorts....It could help you obtain that vengeance you so desperately want..."
"I do not need help vrom ze likes of you." Confident in the power of her personal force field, Panzerfrau turned her back to the creature and began stomping off the way she had been going. If it followed her, this could be an annoyingly long walk...

Twilight floated aongside her, the dark tendrils feeling their way around the force-field. "Come now...Try not to be so stubborn. It is not as though Elitist will treat you much better. You think one such as he would accept a failure the likes of this? This will either end with you coming with us--"
He floated so that he would be directly in her path. Both his fists and his eyes lit a bright green and the tendrils surrounding her made their way behind her into a sort of wall. "--or you will fall in this wasteland as your very being is consumed..." As he spoke his voice once more turned to it's ancient malice.
"Da, Elitist vill be very unhappy. But I rather like my chances vith him than de likes of you. Try stopping me again. Mein men are on their vay to pick me up." Panzerfrau stepped around Twilight, moving more quickly now that the Independence Port gate was in view. Up ahead, the Masters checkpoint guards could be seen.
One was on his radio. He'd obviously spotted her and was giving her location. Good. This would all be finished soon.
Then that idiot would get what he deserved.

Twilight sighed and looked away for a moment. "We had hoped you would come willingly but it seems force is necessary..." He raised his hands as she walked away and brought them down with force. The giant wall of darkness behind him started to rumble. In less time than it would take for Panzerfrau to turn around the wall crashed down upon both of them. The next thing they knew they were simply in a void of black. Voices ran from all directions here. As we said, either you could die there or come with us. And we couldn't much let you pass now could we? In your normal state this would not be possible, though in your now weakened state you are in our prison....And to do with as we see fit. Twilights form would now appear in front of her. You forcefield is strong....Even in the condition you're in this would be nigh impenetrable....[u]nigh[u] impenetrable. You see this place? This is how we can move from zone to zone so fast. And now it seems the resistance base would be a good place for us to head off to. Unless you can tell me what i want to know.
((Where the Hell is Kaolin? >.< I'm waiting on h im to reply to Jake.))
"Not a problem," said Panzerfrau as she hoisted her pulse rifle into her arms. "Der's two places zis gun can shoot. I vill not be firing it at your head. Now, leave before I have you excorcised."
Any second now, her men would find her and deal with this problem. Then she would be able to continue on her way, unhindered.
She hoped.

"Where the Hell did that lunatic go?" Kip muttered, "Look, you guys know where to go to get the Hell out of here? I can't wait around for-"
He peered into the distance.
"...Oh. Found him."

Psycho13 emerged from behind the corner of a wall near the Independence Port Entrance. He'd been tracking Twilight since the guy didn't seem to stop where the other metas had on top of that roof. Now, he saw why.
Misery.
How could anything thrive off such negative energy?
When the wall fell and they seemed to disappear, he walked into the clearing slowly, drawing his blades.
"Well... This is bad..."

Jake sighed and walked over to an edge of the building. "Alright, whatever, everyone just tell me when they're ready to pack up and we'll move out."
(Editing with no idea what you're doing sucks. >.<

Kip nodded to Jake.
"Let's go. He can find his own way. I guess I'm in a sour enough mood for the other guy to find us anywhere we go."

Twilight sighed and stared at her. You don't get it do you? We aren't in your normal physical plane here....This is past all the rubbish and filth of your realm. Right now we are everywhere and nowhere. We are the shadows. Your guards will never find you here. This is Our element. We are no demon you can excorsise, this is no matter of faith. We will give you one more chance before things turn messy....
If Panzer looked to her sides she would see all manner of otherworldly beings peering through the darkness at them. This was no longer the Paragon she knew.
This was not a position Panzerfrau was used to. Though it was likely the creature would never get through her forcefield, she was trapped. She had plenty of gadgets at her disposal, but nothing that moved between planes. That was typically one of the other Masters' area of expertise.
The one who got her in this mess in the first place.
"I'm listening," she muttered grudginly.

Twilight cracked his neck in a jerking motion. Good....Now, we only ask for information on one of your more magic oriented Masters....Blightlord. You see, as opposed to many of you others he understands the arcane....This makes him dangerous to us. Now we only ask for information enough to know what barriers or defenses of the type are there. No more. If your word holds true, you may leave undamaged, return to your master and report what you have seen. If you prove to be deceitful...Let us simply say that there are other creatures down here that could prove efficient at helping us remove your precious shield. He studied her a little more closely Ah....We see that is the name with which you wish vengeance. Perhaps you would help us further?

Panzerfrau glanced off to the side. She doubted they would get far into his fortress. None of her own scouts survived any attempts to even get a good look at the place, human or other. Most likely they would be killed, and gruesomely.
Perfect.

"Damn but that was a long run," remarked Toy Dispenser as he and Large Toy finally burst out of a concealed door that opened up into a normal looking alleyway.
"We were flying, sir," commented Large Toy as it landed and scanned the nearby area for hostiles.
"Whatever," said Toy dismissively as he tapped into the rebels communications link and studied the situation.
"Hm... Seems like the technogeek got shot down by a dragon," Toy said to Large Toy. "The rebels and Mayhem forces are also pulling out. Apparently they all know we got the weapon and so there's nothing left fighting over."
"That's good to know, sir," said Large Toy. "What about the other metahumans?"
"No reports of them arriving back at main HQ, though there are some interesting rumours going around about a downed Flier and-.......[censored]."
"Sir?"
"Stevie Power is dead. Small Toy just checked in. He's fighting the assassin as we speak with some help from Hokata's ninjas."
"We should go and help him then, sir."
"Damn right. Let's go."
Both androids activated their anti-grav systems and hurtled up into the air. As little more than bright streaks of color, they shot off toward Small Toy's position.

"You guys won't be making any calls ever again," said Combat Toy in a satisfied tone of voice as he dropped the broken body of one of the IP door guards.
The robotic brute had been tracking Panzerfrau for a while now ever since he had seen her personnal flier. He had thought Hokata's dragon had killed her, but investigated the crash just in case. His diligence was rewarded when the [censored] herself walked out of the flames and started retreating toward Independance Port. It had been difficult, but he had managed to keep up with her without being noticed. He had welcomed the arrival of Twilight as two to one odds were much better in his opinion. But when the door guard had spotted Panzerfrau and Twilight had elected to raise some sort of impenetrable shadow barrier, Combat Toy had moved swiftly. He had killed both guards before they could do little more than scream in shock. If he was lucky, he had prevented that one guard from getting off a call for reinforcements. But just to make sure...
"Heave [censored] ho!" Combat Toy said to himself as he entered the small guard post and started working at the controls inside. The giant blast doors that had been installed during the earlier wars could be closed here and that's exactly what he intended to do. Using the Mayhem codes that Toy routinely hacked from their main database would alert the goons to the intrusion, but that would do little more than invalidate the codes until the next time Toy went cybersurfing.
"Close sesame," Combat Toy said as he hit the last button.

The patch of woods Baalial had stepped into gave a slight rustle. A series of muttered Japanese curses could be heard.
"Oh now, don't be like that." the demon's voice sighed, barely audible, "And yes, I did, see? Scroll of Summoning Dragon. Very minor. If someone picked up magic of that tiny amount on their radar, they'd better have an orbital sniffer in addition to several times the amount of paranoia of the Malta Group. Now you come on and change. We don't have all day, you know..."

Twilight arrived to see a badly damaged female heading towardsw the Independence Port Gate. Ordinarily he would have simply let her off, but upon closer inspection he noticed who this is. Ah, this is an opportunity we cannot miss... He slowly and quietly lowered himself behind her. Shadows encroached down his body and slithered on the ground. It would be hard for Panzerfrau to not notice the dark tentacles beneath her. "Ah...Panzerfrau is it? We had hoped to find corpses to harvest but this is simply to good... You look damaged, perhaps we could work out an arrangement that wouldn't involve your painful death...."
