Antagonism chuckled for a second, he was grinning under the cloth around his face. "I dunno, first give me a reason to attack another hero. And saying you'll sue me otherwise won't help very much." He motioned towards the Animal woman and the man in the iron suit. "They do something illegal? If not I'll have to ask you to drop the gun."
Nick was becoming visibly upset, angrily he said, "Guh, not the guy in the suit, just her! She's not even a registered hero!"
Antagonism: Have they done anything illegal? Can I keep doing this? I'm gonna fall apart if I have to keep actually pointing a gun at her. Nick paused for a moment, "No, she hasn't done anything illegal...yet. Look, buddy, you missed a hell of a lot, and you have no authority to attack me, and even you know it. The pistol is a defensive weapon, so now as long as I don't SHOOT the damn thing, I'm fine. Now, on the other hand, if you come closer in attempt to disarm an official member of law enforcement, I'm given every right to fire upon you, so I'm going to have to ask you to just cooperate with me." Nick smirked in an attempt to lighten up, "Ok? Can we just, 'compromise' with that then, Goth Man, not asking you to ATTACK anyone am I? Just asking you stop anything BAD from happening, OKAY?" Nick slowed his words down and used emphasis, almost mockingly out of his annoyance with yet another interference.
Noticing things were clearly getting out of control, the Iron American decided he should try to explain things, or at least explain why he was there.
"All right everybody calm down. First things first, listen here newbie. Trigger Happy Bob here came out of the building we are all standing in front of and was talking to animal chick here. I came up to talk to them because I had received a letter about a job here with Freedom Corps. I came up to them and things were going swimmingly, hell we even had another guest show up," said Iron American motioning towards Justin, "when animal chick starting acting really weird. Well at least weirder than you would expect someone like her to act. So then gunslinger here pulled his firearm to subdue the craziness. And that's when you showed up and grabbed him by the neck. Now that we are all caught up here, I would really like to find out what the hell is up with her!" exclaimed Iron American in the hopes that maybe she would explain herself.
"Oh, sorry then. You have to understand how it looks to see someone pointing a gun at what appears to be two heroes with a civilian nearby..." He looked around at the scene, unsure of what to do. "...But I'm a bit curious so i think I'll stay around in case things get out of hand."

When Justin saw this new hero appear on the scene he thought that maybe the strange happenings would end soon, and he decide to stay at least for a bit longer. When he heard the shot he practically dived for the ground covering his head (he tries relay hard to keep his secret identity when he's in costume he wouldn't have flinched). Then after about ten seconds of lying there on the ground he got back up cautiously shaking in fear.
After Justin heard Nicks speech he wondered why he was so upset it was an accident and didn't hurt anyone, he wouldn't get in any trouble, and if he it wouldn't be allot. Then when Iron spoke he snickered at the phrase 'trigger happy bob' and then bit his tongue hoping nobody heard him.
When Antagonism said "civilian" Justin grinned pointed to himself and pronounced loudly, "that's me!".
Ramare appeared to be strangely amused by the chaotic situation that had formed,especially since it concerned her for a big part.Tossing her hair back on a taunting manner she elegantly walked over to the man that had appeared last on the scene. She found the dark mystery that enshrouded him extremely intrigueing. 'time to play my little prey..',she thought,ignoring the tiny voice in the back of her head that was begging her to stop. It wouldn't be the first time that she would take over Rami's body,the scent of men and trouble the perfect bait to lure her out of the dark depths of the woman's mind.
"animal lady...?",she giggled,eyes glinstering " but that does have its good side ya know sugar..",her tail flicking with the sound of a lashing whip,followed by a small wink.
"and ya know..",she continued,her voice raising as she immitated Rami's whimpering perfectly " he..h-he wanted to shoot me..without a-any reason at all!",finishing her little act with a pout.
There was nothing she enjoyed more then causing mayhem,silently enjoying the destructive power of her words.
'that silly goose came here to become a hero..growing stronger..not aslong as i am around..' she thought.

Nick laughed, cracking his knuckles he said, "Try me buddy, I swear try me, and you'd be filled with holes." Nick turned back, and noticed Rami/Mare was approaching Goth-Man. "

After hearing Rami/Mare's little play for Antagonism, Nick slapped himself on the forehead. My god, had she been planning this from the very beginning? I feel so....used!.
But this gave Nick a boost to his resolve, that this woman could NOT be allowed to leave the premises. Nick looked towards the new hero, who he now dubbed to be Goth-Man, then looked towards Rami/Mare again, with a sound of frustration and annoyance he said, "You must be joking, you don't honestly think he's THAT stupid do you? You're not fooling anyone, your up to something, and your going to tell us what, explain yourself before I DO pull the trigger."At least god I hope Goth-Man isn't that stupid...he obviously is tough, even with the extra neck padding, it did hurt a little when he grabbed me, and I don't want to have to deal with him and Rami at the same time...
Nick started eyeing his pistol again, and tried to sound serious. Nick then looked over to Iron American, and said to him, "Hey, Steel Spaniard, or whatever your name is, don't suppose you have any duct tape in that suit of yours do you? I left my hand cuffs in my other pants, and we need SOMETHING to take to her to the jail. Nick started smiling again. . Nick took note again of the nearby citizen. Damn it, what is this guy still doing here? Doesn't he realize it could be dangerous to stay here?. "Didn't you figure out this is getting heavy buddy? Go get some help or something, I want people to know about my first big arrest." Nick felt his confidence come back to him again, and overflow his ego again as well.... Yea, I have it all figured out now, she was just using me to get into the building, and we saw through her little ruse about having some sort of split personality. Piece of cake, I can't believe I was getting so worked up about this, I'm SO gonna get promoted for this!
With a cold little cackle,Mare turned around to face nick,eyes narrowed till thin crimson slits as she hissed under her breath "do ya honestly intend to shoot me suga?",thunder rumbling in the distance to empower the threatening tone sounding through her voice. "would a hero point a gun at an innocent defenseless woman? hmm? well?",she continued,arrogantly lifting her head "would a hero even THINK about brutally MURDERING a hapless citizen?"
She was now taking a big step eachtime she made a new statement till she was standing right infront of nick,poking her index finger against his chest "would a HERO engage a fight with a sweet girl that has never done anything against the rules?"
Dropping her head,pale strands covered up her face,a gasp followed by some soft sobbing sounding through the curtain of hair. With trembling shoulders she lifted her head up,tears visible in her eyes " w-what have i ever done to you..i-i thought you would..help me become a hero..i...i thought you could be a role model for me nick.."
In the meanwhile it was getting pretty dark outside,the little bit of sun that was still left covered up by a thick blanket of deep gray clouds. Lightning encleaved the gloomy sky to unleash a mighty downpour,streetlights flicking on.
Antagonism at this point had no idea what to do. He saw her displays, and he listened to her talk to Nick. He felt a bit angry at Nick after this last talk she gave though it seemed like she was up to something. he couldn't help but feel sorry for her. "Look, Umm....I didn't catch your name, but Nick was probably just feeling a bit tense." He looked at the two standing neck and neck, specificaly at Nick. "Now I'm sure we can talk this out and there won't be any guns or fists involved."
Ramare slowly turned around to face Antagonism,staring at him with big glossy eyes as the neverending flow of tears left wet trails down her cheeks. Her lips trembled as she whispered "p-please..take me with you..i just..i-i always dreamed of a mentor..". Her voice dropped as she continued hoarsely " i-i will do...anything",gazing intently into the man's eyes. She appeared rather desperate.
"i..i am sure that..you are the type of man that can fulfill a woman's deepest wish..",she finished,casting a quick glance over her shoulder towards nick before settling her attention back on Antagonism "to..to become a true hero"
(( I'm starting to wonder where exactly we're going with this, I'm actually having a little trouble deciding on how to make Nick react to some of these things at this point. >.> Nonetheless, it's very interesting.))

What keeps going on, how does she does this? She was supposed to accept defeat and then I get a badge and things get good....she's not supposed to cry... As the lightning came down, and the rain poured, Nick still did not move a muscle though, as he trapped himself in his mind again.
He snapped out of his internal monologue after he heard...

Nick caught Goth-Man looking at him again. Nick was starting to regret what he was saying earlier, and was thinking of saying , "Yea, I guess Antagonism is right, I guess I overreacted." But he never got around to saying it, because Rami/Mare apparently beat him to it.

Hearing her little speech, set Nick on fire again. Yea, he's gonna try and take her and.....no, no no, I think I-...damn it I can't do this anymore! Nick seemed to be thinking of every little possibility, except for the one right in front of him.
The woman was playing off both of them, trying to start a fight, but Nick was just cutting off the one possibility he didn't want to hear.
Nick took out a second pistol from his left leg, unlike most guardians, instead of a pistol and a rifle, he just carried two pistols. Keeping one pistol trained on Rami/Mare and Antagonism, Nick took one pistol and fired off two rounds into the air. This time Nick was yelling hysterically, "Ok, both of you, back away, and get up against the wall, either of you move away from it, and I swear I am not going to hesitate this time!" He was shaking non stop, every part of him, except for his hands anyway, now both pistols trained on Antagonism and Rami/Mare.
"Okeydokey, I've seen enough." a voice spoke from the rooftops, a shiny human standing up... Was he shiny? No, it was just the armour, a bright red, reflecting the sun. His smile was obvious, even from the ground, as his cape flowed in whatever wind was at that altitude.
"I'm against simply brandishing pistols at people, even if they don't have hero licenses. She has done nothing overtly violent just yet- But I am completely aggressive against people wielding pistols against heroes."
He aimed his right hand down at Nick, a spine ejecting from it, ready to fire at a moment's notice. "I don't know about you, but I'm ready for a fight any day. These Hellions just don't put up as much of a fight as they used to, and the Raiders are boring me. So put down the guns, or this thing goes through your stomach and out the other side for the docs at the Zig to fix up, 'kay?"

For the first time that evening since Mare was taking the lead on Rami's body she couldn't hide the fact that a newcommer had surprised her. Her jaw dropped at the sight of the spine appearing from his hand,eyes widening. Completely baffled she stood there in total silence as the rain beat off her inky skin. Then without a single warning she leaped up,tossing her body backwards,fingertips lightly touching the ground before she would land gracefully on her hooves. Her soaked hair sticking to her forehead like a morbid cobwebbed shroud,casting a dark shadow over her eyes. Still not spilling a single word she stood oppose the hero that had just popped up,numerous sharp pointed blades of a boney structure piercing her skin with a loud 'KACHANG' ((wolverine style mwuahahah!!! *mad cackling*))
Lifting up her left arm towards her face she tauntingly licked a drop of poison from a particulary vicious looking spine that had emerged from her wrist,eyes locked upon her 'opponent'
By this point Antagonism had had just about enough of all this craziness, time to settle things by force. He was willing to try and talk things out, but Nick pointing a gun at him was too much when combined with mare jumping into the air going to attack the new hero. ****, need some control here quick! His reflexis kicked in and he jumped in the air, performing a flip before landing behind Nick. From there he performed a sweep kick attempting to knock the longbow officer out from under his feet.

Justin listened to all of this, after seeing Nick pull out a second gun he decided to get away, get into his costume and come back. He backed away quietly as he turned his back and began to run across the street he heard behind him Okeydokey, I've seen enough. and then jumped into the first ally he saw. Unfortunately it happened to be inhabited by about five hellions who all at seeing just half into his costume attacked. He jumped back in surprise and flew away before the managed to do anything serious although they managed to cut his costume and scrape his skin mixing a small amount of red blood with his blue costume a bit, and completely tear off his chest detail, a crescent moon. He found a second ally way checking from above this time to make sure there were no villains in this one, and then dropped onto a dumpster clumsily and bruised his knee. He sighed in annoyance at this, then finished changing.
He then flew back to freedom corps building slowly, in pain from the scratches on his chest, and the bruise on his knee. He landed next to Nick with a thud, and fell to the ground yelling gah! a sharp pain going through his knee. After a pause on the ground , resting, he got back up again shaking and wobbling on his not so good leg until he put more weight on his other leg in a unnatural stance(not something you would want to fight in) and saw that Mare was pointing spines at some strange man on the roof who was pointing spines at Nick. dang I hate spines! he mumbled to himself rubbing a scare on his back remembering a incident from his past, before he asked what's goin on here? from under his light blue hood, wich covered most of his face (the only thing you could see was his mouth moving). Then saw Antagonism flip behind Nick doing a sweep kick, "awww @$%&" was all he managed to say before he fell to the ground for a second time this time his hood falling off revealing wavy black hair. Now in twice as much pain as before he decided to just lay there and hope nobody would step on him as he recovered a bit, quickly pulling his hood back over his head.
After Rami/Mare went all crazy by letting loose her spines, Nick started to laugh, and yelled up to the armored man, "Still don't think I have reason to pull the gun?!" Just then though Antagonism jumped behind him, but it seems luckily for Nick, a masked hero flew back around the corner, and managed to take the hit Antagonism was about to give him. After noticing his hood fall off, it seemed it was the civilian that was there moments ago. Heheh, loser!
Nick laughed even harder at the man on the ground, "I said to go for help, though this wasn't what I was expecting,but it will do buddy!". Nick jumped back to get some more distance from Antagonism, and reloaded his pistols. Ok, so he pulled the first shot, justice is on MY side after all!. Aiming again at Antagonism, he fired two rounds from both pistols, each heading straight for Goth-Man's head. Like I said, I'd fill you with holes, and that's what I'm going to do you fool!
Damnit! Antagonism thought after the new hero appeared and took the hit. "Oh ****" was all Antagonism managed to say before the trigger was pulled. He was currently in a bit of an awkward position when the shot was fired so all he could do was lean his head to the left as the bulets whizzed past. He managed to esacpe one, but the other managed to graze the side of his cheek. A bit of blood seeped onto the cloak around the lower part of his face, leaving a not so pleasent feel there. Thanks god for those reflexes... From there he did a cartwheel onto his feet and took cover behind a near-by column. "Nice shot!" he yelled from behind there. "But try aiming for my face, not the buildings behind me!" He jumped onto the mid size column and vaulted towards the man who had just taken a shot at him. He held one leg extended out, and the other tucked in as he tried to land a mid air kick to the man's stomach.
(I'm so confused as to where this is all going. But oh well)
"Steel Spaniard?" asked Michael aloud to himself looking down at his own Red, White and Blue armor, "is this guy blind or just jealous of my wit? I always thought that it was pretty obvious from the colors who I was representing. Oh well, the rate and manner in which he is firing he must not be thinking to clearly at this point."
Readying himself in a Sniper Blast position, the Iron American decided now was the time to get some tactical advice from his personal assistant which he so affectionately called Helmet, seeing as this assistant was his Helmet. "Helmet, who should I shoot and where should I shoot 'em?"
"Sir, my only recommendation would be that you eliminate the danger of the Longbowman's firearms. Aside from that and the crazy woman you have already deemed a threat, I see no further issues."
"Sounds good to me."
"Attention Longbow Soldier. I have two things to say to you. One, I am the guy who gives witty nicknames here. Two, Put down you guns and calm the hell down, or I will release this energy blast at your risk. And psycho spine girl you need to pull yourself together or otherwise you too are in for a world of pain you probably haven't experienced before. The rest of you either help bring this situation back down to normal or go get people who will, cause we don't need this getting any more out of hand."
Experiment sighed, his spines retracting as he stood up straight again. "Right, great, just go ahead and refute my wish to help you. Y'know, you could have kept playing all innocent, and I wouldn't have looked so stupid."
He leaped from the rooftop, jets activating to slow him as he landed. He bowed to Steel American, grinning. "No worries, sir. I came here to calm these guys down anyway- A few people got scared when the guy here let off a shot and called the police. So far, I'm the only hero to figure out where it came from."
He removed a wire from his belt, and slipped it into his right wrist. He glanced at the female creature, smirking. "Now, if you're gonna attack me, do it. Get it outta your system. Then, I will use this electrified wire to knock you unconscious, place a TP on you, send you to the Zig, and we can all leave," he glared at Nick, "WITHOUT any bullet wounds."
Mare smirked,eyes betraying utter excitement. As soon as the scent of freshly shed blood reached her nosetrills she would longingly lick her tongue across her lips,shivers running down her spine. "..ya can't get away from me sugar..",she hissed,tail lashing against the ground as she leaped towards Experiment whom she had marked a rival. Before the woman had reached the rooftop she curled up her body to a ball,limbs shaking and trembling as slimey green poison oozed from the tips of her spines. She then rapidly spread her arms and legs,slinging spines into every direction as they got launched from her flesh in an impressive outburst. Allthough her aim was the man on the rooftop,she couldn't care less if she would accidently hit something else in the process.
Thunder rumbled more frequently,no longer distant but quite close,rain continueing to beat down on the land. A chill wind had picked up,sending leaves and candybar wraps flying across the street.

Nick was about to fire several more rounds at Antagonism, but was interrupted by...

Nick felt more confidence come back to him with the sense of feeling like he had just been done wrong. What is this guy? An idiot? Nick only glanced towards Iron American, and said sarcastically, "Oh yea, SORRY, what was I thinking for trying to stop Mr. Kick-Flip here try and attack me, next time I'll be sure to let him. Look here buddy, no one tells me to disarm myself, especially not when I'm being attacked! Now excuse you, I have some business to attend to."
Turning his head towards Antagonism again, and heard him utter some taunts, but never bothered to actually listen to them. What did attract his attention though, was seeing Antagonism rush forward to perform a leap kick.
But Nick didn't move, he only pulled up his pistols again, aiming towards Antagonism. Oh, so you want to play chicken huh? Ok, but have you ever actually met someone who would go off the edge? If Longbow training taught me anything, it was that sometimes, you need to take the damage if you want to deal it... With Antagonism coming closer in the air, Nick held down the trigger, unloading half of both cartridges of ammo at Antagonism, as he took the hit knocking him up against the Freedom Corps building door.
Eagle of Light (Justin) got up scowling when hearing Nick say I said to go for help, though this wasn't what I was expecting,but it will do buddy!". Im not your shield protect yourself! Eagle said angrily. He turned to Iron and Experiment Im with you guys he pronounced giving them a small nod. He then turned to woman and Nick just to see spines flying at them. He turned into a white dwarf (peacbringer power, shapeshift +defence and different powers) hoping that the spines wouldn't pierce his tough hide, they glanced off him like tooth picks. He then stomped his foot creating a white dwarf flare attempting to knock Nick and Rami/Mare to the ground.

Behind his dark glasses, Antagonism's eyes went wide at the sight of Nick still pulling off all his shots before being hit with the blast. All the super reflexes in the world couldn't completely save him from what was going to happen to him. He twisted around in the air, dodging some shots, bu he was still hit twice in the left shoulder and once next to his left shin. He landed on the ground with his right leg, wobbling and falling to the ground. Ah, damnit.....Could have been worse I guess. He had some trouble moving, but he still managed to stand, even if he was staggering a bit. Some blood was seeping down his costume, but it didn't bother him too much. It hurt to move his left arm, but it was nothing he couldn't handle. After some training with undead Martial Arts masters, he had learned how to withstand a bit of pain.
With a cough he said "Heheh...Nice shot..."

Nick jumped upon being grabbed by some strange hero, causing him to clench his hands together, and...pull off a shot at random. And another hero comes out of nowhere, this idiot will ruin everything, I can't believe I wanted to be one! Ok, ok, what do I do...right, fast talking. Nick smirked, and jumped forward, getting him a little room to get away from the almost goth-like hero, now that he could see him. Trying to keep cool he said, "Ok, I don't know who you are, but you are going to stop touching the longbow soldier, or risk charges by freedom corps. This is officially a Freedom Corps operation, and because your a hero, I'm going to let you go if you make sure..that, this....woman...horse...person...thing, doesn't go anywhere."
Nick made a gesture after checking his pistol and gestured to Rami/Mare. But in reality, it wasn't a Freedom Corps operation, more like a 'Oh crap I think this chick is gonna do something crazy I better do something vigilante style' operation. But Nick knew all about fast talking, and this was one of his few talents besides marksmanship. Now, aiming his pistol towards, whoever the new guy was. Chuckling he said, "Pick one."
