Actually, believe it or not, but Virtue is the 'official' and agreed upon RP server.
Mind, Im not saying there is no RP in other servers as well. You can find some on Freedom, and a little on Infinity. But honestly, the agreed upon RP server is Virtue.
Now if you want NUMBERS, go with Freedom, by all means.
But if you're looking almost exclusively for RP, take Virtue.

Just want to mention, the CoX boards are probably the nicest places in the MMO world.
Diov is right, Virtue is THE location, commonly, for most RPers. I personally say a LOT of servers have RP... Just don't go to Liberty... Trust me... My main is there, and it... It's not a very RP-Open place, to me...
Me and a group of friends all jumped back onto the CoH bandwagon about a week ago. We come from other MMO's where the RP community is thriving and are hoping to find that again here.
Now I am not asking this question to begin a "Which server is better" flamewar or debate. I've learned from years of RPing in any MMO that each server has it's pro's and con's. I'm just curious as to which server or servers (If any, as I haven't seen much yet to support this -yet- beyond a lot of Fanfic) sport a strong, active Roleplay community.
