You can always do a "poor man's" copyright. Make a copy of what you want to copyright and mail it to yourself, but DO NOT open it. It will be sealed and have the post mark on it for date verification.

I'm searching for a legitimate place to get a copyright for my poems that I have written.. I know there is a site, I just dont know what the site is. Can anyone help?
