Warfox vs Juggertha!!!

Next up in my "Tribute" series of commissions is good ole Juggertha. I had the idea for a Wolverine vs Hulk style fight between these two rattling around my head for a long time and this was the perfect way to trot it out. It is inspired by this classic comic cover , which I'm sure Juggy will recognize. Brandon McKinney, who drew this, contributed greatly to the proposed layout and even suggested the brilliant idea of using Cyberlynx in the role of Wendigo. Thanks Brandon, this rocks! I hope ya like it, Juggy.

Great homage to the old comic.
I especially like the cyberlynx detail in the background

I almost forgot this part. Brandon also thought it would be neat to try coloring this in the old school comic "half tone" method. It is pretty cool to see it in the old style, even though it does hurt my eyes.

You know, it's things like this, out of the blue, that really make my day.

I'm just sitting here smiling thinking of how cool this is on so many levels.

I'm glad you like it Juggertha! And thank you to everyone for the comments. Buckeye's idea for this piece is great and I'm digging the "team-up" concepts he's coming up with. It was fun drawing Juggy as the mighty green guy. Plus, it gave me a chance to sneak in ol' CyberLynx

The halftone cover came out even more gaudy than I expected! It's a filter on Photoshop that I used for a graphic novel I did a few years back. Makes it look like a classic comic book hopefully.

Fantastic stuff! I just love the way that this came together. Grats to Buck on a great piece, and to Jugg and CyberLynx for the cool cameos.

Makes me wish I had some money, cause there's a particular comic cover (Wolverine #90, one of the most kick-butt covers of all time IMHO) that I'd love to have redone with Comet and someone else (dunno who though).

Awe-freaking-inspiring!!! Basically, your piece explains why I play this game, I think you... Screw IT!! Ima go login right now, talk to you later... great work, thx for the jolt .

I'm just glad you like it, Juggy. It really tickled me to see that you used it for your new avatar. The greatest joy I get from doing these is the reactions from the guest stars. I wish I done this sooner. And thanks once again to Brandon for working with me on this. You da man!

No Buck, YOU are most definitely da man

Cyberlynx sure is appearing in a lot of art lately

Man I love this classic comic cover idea... jumping on that! Great work as usual Brandon, and gratz to Juggertha and Buckeye...

Yeah, that's a very very great piece you made here, Brandon.
And very sweet from Buck to have initiated it.
