Speedy's Colorations!

Hey folks,

Some of you may have noticed my sudden dissapearance a little while back. That was due to lack of funds for Time cards so I couldn't post anything :P

I want to start off by saying how awsome some of the stuff I've seen in this forum has been and that it makes me proud to be part of this community.

Now that the plesentries are over....

You may want to ask, "What have you been doing in your off time Speedy?"

Well the answer to that is simple I've been coloring!!!!

Hmm...pretty good. You should use a broader range of color variation, though. Definitely create more contrast to stand out from the masses of other cell-shaders.

In photoshop with the gradiant, blur, and polygonal lasso tools

Cellshading a style of coloring often used by anime artists and otakus. It's an alright style but it tends to have very little color variations so it makes the final image comes out looking kinda flat. Increase the contrast to create a greater sense of depth and volume in the images.

I am quite impressed... came this close to drawing another SS for you to color... (I in fact researched it, with a bunch of images on runners, the Flash, jumping figures...) Will send it to you when done.
