Nonsense. He's paying for it. He can decide what the hell goes on it.

I've always seen it that freebies get thrown at individuals BY individuals who wanna make a statement of their art.

EXAMPLE: If an up and coming artist wants to get their art out there, you go to the biggest art-wh0re out there. i.e. Rowr or TA

Why? Because it's good publicity, duh XD

I didn't do this :P TA Tracked ME down MUAH! But it's standard practice.

This is true, part of my quest to 'get em all'

Touché though you have reminded me to do something.

Well, it's all about your passions and what you love. If you like art and choose to [censored] it out, then that's your perogative. I don't think anyone really can say anything since that's your choice. Like how people used to purchase weapons/items for video games through eBay and other sources, I don't really see what's wrong with your artwhoring. They're doing something they love so who are other people to say what's right or wrong to that person?

...and yes, I know...I am quite biased. :-P

When I say something, I do so only in jest. I've tried to sound like Jill, the middle child from the Brady Bunch show, who's always quoted as saying, "Marsha, Marsha, Marsha! It's always about Marsha!(Stomps off pouting)" So, if anyone is worried about me, don't. I drone on sometimes a little too much, but that's my personality. Heck I should give Prof Blues grief about his Gamma art and feeling like I'm being upstaged. but it's all in jest.

you couldnt quit collecting art dude, you havent got your own comic series yet. now if you keep this up you may anyhow there is never enough art work man. I always like looking at your gallery and different views on TA and different missions and such I always like looking at it. So really there is never enough, well not for TA anyways keep on collecting man

See, that's bad marketing. At this point TA and Rowr are like American Idol -- 20 million try out because everyone knows about it. The signal-to-noise is poor, and the next piece gets lost in the clutter. What artists really need to do is glom on to the next up-and-comer.

That Ironik guy is a prime example. Dude's goin' places!

UPSTAGED? Dude, like, NO WAY. You've got scenery in yours. And you gave Gamma a bike.

*wonders how much sleep he'll lose doing a V3 version*

Actually, as crazy as it sounds, this is the kind of motivation that gets me to learning the ins and outs of Poser, GIMP, and the rest. So far, lesee.... I've changed the material maps on a prop... I've used a nifty 'point at' trick for both posing a model's eyes and aiming a spotlight... I've experimented with 'wind' forcefields to automatically arrange clothing and hair (need to work on that though)... and I've got a rough idea on backgrounds.

and I figured out what was busted with eyebrows.

So... yeah. Bring it, Durse.

Still in the process of getting a true count. I said a number before but I was counting different variations and inkings, colors, that type of thing, not sure at the moment honestly. At least 250 pieces though but by my last count it was closer to 350. Not sure though. Need to come up with an actual figure lol. I'll get back to ya!

I say when there's no one left to commission....then it's probably a good time to stop.

[/ QUOTE ]
I will disagree ... when there is no one left to commision ... its time for round 2, a second commission from each. I'll let you figure out what happens at the end of round 2.

Seriously TA, you can never have enough free art. From one Art [censored] to another.

[/ QUOTE ]

Who ever said TAs art was free ... we all know some/most is but he get some really nice comissions too ... and well as long as you have money ... you can't have too many of those either.

It's my personal theory that TA sells his body for the money to get his artz!

My take is that I don't want to stop Thor's Assassin from getting his own art. I simply want to start collecting my own. I don't want or need other people's things or to stop them from obtaining and enjoying them. On the other hand it looks like I may be forced into applying at Wal-Mart as a night stock clerk or security guard or whatever because I needs me some more moneys! Seriously. The only thing stopping me from being a bigger artwhore than TA is my awkwardness and lack of funds. That and the fact that I have over 100 characters as compared to his 2 (and that's not counting my non-CoX characters). Then again, one day I shall rule over all of this world one day and I shall have such a grand collection that even the gods will take notice.

Ummm... yeah. So maybe I was getting a little carried away with that last part, but you get my meaning.
