Patience? Who said anything about patience? I slapped this together in about an hour, mostly because I had to mess around with the shades of gray so much. Most of the time it's blotting in colors with the paintcan tool, not painstakingly clicking pixel by pixel.
Anyway, I'm now on the lookout for sprites that'd make good bases for TA, DB, and Buck... for no particular reason... *whistles innocently*

FYI, the best way to shade grey is to use the colour sprite and just convert it to greyscale, then back to colour. You can copy the non-grey parts and paste them in afterwards.
That's how I got ol' Slate over there <-- from the green Hulk sprite. Then I added in his cigar.
