Another WIP

Update!

On a completely different, and rather sad note. The last box of Mac and cheese in my house came packaged without the cheese sauce mix.

Hehe no it's not done yet. Hands and belt left to shade and then some heroic background or some such. I may play around with adding some vascularity on another layer also. Then there's the hair. I am still not satusfied with that. I may breal out the comic stash and see what the pros do.

I would suggest the Arizona State Flag as the background since you decided not to use it as his cape (although is suppose I should have told you that in the first place). But if you have some other ideas by all means go with whatever you want.

All you need is some cheddar cheese and milk and your good to go.

Last update for tonight. I am happy with the hands but disatisfied with the belt. Not sure what type of look I am really trying to get there. Metal I guess. . It may be the inks that are bothering me there though. I'll revisit that area tomorrow.

Lot's of good luck tonight. After some research I was able to create some hair I like MUCH better. Seems to flow more smoothly with the inking style I think. Also took care of the belt a bit, and while I'm not totally satisfied there it feels much improved. I would call the figure

done

unless I find anything glaring that I don't like. Now on to a background and some finishing touches. One more update to come.

I think you're right on the hair my friend! Fits much better! With that figure being the final I can tell you that you've done a great job on it!

This has been simply the BEST time for me. Mr. A thanks so much for your patience with this. It seemed to take a long time to me but I think it's paid off well. Thanks also for such a great character design. I know you wanted some Arizona reference, and while I did research the Arizona flag in the end I went with Arizona's most awesome landmark, the Grand Canyon. I hope you like it!

Thanks to everyone who posted and offered advice or criticisms. Especially thanks to Thornster who said those magic words to me..."smudge tool". While it may not be apparent that I used the smudge tool much I can assure you I did. It's been a great learning experience again.
