I don't draw as much due to school but I do draw when I feel inspired.

it's a shame to hear your not real proud of your work you have alot of talent and most are very good. Keep at it...the folks on this forum are really full of encouragement

Gah! Must get past my block! Fiddling with this tiny graphics tablet isn't helping. I'll have to scan all my old stuff and post it for the crowd here.

Thanks and i know how you feel with the block. As I had mentioned earlier, when ever I had blocks and couldn't draw i ended up tracing over my artwork to make new characters. Especially when I had a character in my head that I wanted to get on paper but couldn't draw due to the block. I have had a few people here criticize me for doing that and make it seem like I traced someone elses artwork when it was my own artwork that I traced over.

I'm actually thinking of going that route somewhat just to get my ideas out until I can get past my block and improve my art (along with my confidence in my art). As it is I say you have a good start there and you should definately keep it up.

I tried drawing when I had blocks and my characters come out with the wrong proportions or thier faces look wierd ect. so when that happens i will find a pic that I liked and trace over. the pics that I have here that look the same but with different clothes and features were spawned from my phoenix character.

...errmmm...am I missing something here? your work looks mighty fine to me. remember we are always our own worst critic. but, if you step back and look at your work with a more neutral view point thinking you'll agree with the rest of us....good stuff maynard!

in general...artists are ever in the constant stage of learning or improving. dont believe me...ask some of the biggies...they are still striving to improve...even when we outsiders look at the work the post and drool from the awsomeny (its my world live it!) goodness...end result? being critical of your work is ok, but also recognize when its pretty damn good too.

blah blah blah...I know...keep posting work, I wanna see more ~

lol Thanks I apreciate it. Goldenarms, the Gideon 96, Trigger happy, Armageddon, Silver dragon, Rigormortis, were all done with in the first 3 years i learned to draw in the comic style I only wish I had my earlier peices from when I start in 93 but my idiot art teacher I had in highschool lost the folder where I had my first comic character drawings so the oldest one I have is a pic I did in the end of 93 which was my first y year into the comic style of drawing. I will see if i can post it. But before that I was drawing cartoon characters for years. which is why I picked it up so quickly. I will post a few tommorow.
