Colouring question?
Well with something delicate like ink wash, I woudln't really go with colored pencil or colored ink... Perhaps do a high rez scan and digital color it so you don't lose anything from the artwork.
oooo... ink wash is usually beautiful on it's own man (it used to be my favorite form of drawing), but if you feel the incredible need to have it colored, it actually would be easy to do if you got a high rez scan of it and had someone digitally color it mostly through layers and brushes with their bend mode set to color. Since an ink wash will set the value of the area already, all you would need to do theoretically, is set the hue and saturation.
Just wondering...
I am having a pic made for me, and the artist offers ink-wash style. He doesn't colour his work, so I was wondering, is inkwash easy to have coloured? Would it be best to do straight pencil/ink?
