I think the chest logo/cutout design came out really neat, WP. Overall, I think this is turning out pretty nice. You've held out on us all for so long, hehe. Good stuff!

completed base coloring.

...nothing major...just finished off the base coloring. only thing really to do with her now is go back over for shading. then it'll be on to the wings (which will be a major pain in the [censored]) and finally dropping her on some sort of background...although may chinse out there...haven't really decided as of yet...

...and I gotta say forgot how tedious coloring with a friggin mouse can be...ofta~

Very nice! I agree with Lilac the chest emblem is awesome!

...by the by...thank you Lilac and Larissa for the compliments on the chest icon. although a tad generic I do like how it looks and plays off the name (imo). ~

So... uh... who's commisioning WP first?

That's a great sketch, and a great costume. I wish you were inspired to draw more often.

agreed, I think it would too...but cant import things (yet ). as such, I have to make do with what I have, which dispite the robust creation system, I still find limiting. as of yet I have really only come across one character that I really like as represented in game but even that is missing an item or two.
crosshart
he's gone through multiple incarnations already...most of which were TA/A defenders...but once I hit 20 could never get a team for him . soooo...just remade (again....sigh) except running with a arch/energy blaster. while not completely true to concept its doable. long and short is that he is a former Longbow Spec Ops kinda fella with a long history AND connected to Citenik, Whiteperegrine and Nitecrow as the four of them used to be a small team.

anywho...I like how his suit looks in game but no quiver so thats a bit odd seeing arrows just "pop" into his hand but again...managable...

as far as comms go...not bloody likely...heh...not saying I will never draw someones character at some point just that I will never be taking on commissions or requests on any level of formal requests. ...definately appreciate the thought though ~

test wings and simple colored backdrop
these are the current test wings I am playing with. I wanted to try and get an oily/smoke/shadow kinda thing going as her defence is dark. came out reasonably well...but may have to play around with it a bit more...
...also, dropped her onto a simple colored background to see how the "wings" would interact with it. pretty happy on that account. I may play with the transparency a smidge but for the most part I like it as is.

havent touched a thing on the shading side of the house. appears I am going to have to do it the long way. was really hoping for a cheat but appears that aint gonna happen. as such, probably gonna be really simple on the shading/highlight aspect. ~

played with two different brush set to black with coloring. one for the dark outlining and the the other had a wide dispersal area so came out grey. next stop...Liquify! move everything around until state reached that one is satisfied with. when coloring in....dont worry overly about filling every nook and cranny with paint as the liquify process will fix that for ya. I suppose could be done with opaque solids....but wasnt the look I was aimin for.

hope that helps ya spade

...almost forgot....last thing I did was use the Smart Blur a few times to help smooth things out a lil more.~

...near the very bottom and diameters 36 (for the wide dispersed grey) and diameter 63 (for the "black"). both can be seen at the same time (mine shows for diameters at any time and they are rectangles off kilter....
