Problems Recording a Demo in Base
As near as I can tell, Demo Records cannot be done in bases. Something about the coding for how bases works make it currently improbable to work
I wont say impossible because then someone will say "I figured out how to do it"

The garbage isn't garbage, that is your base. And it needs to stay EXACTLY the way it is. If you use a word processor or anything like that it will likely get 'smart' and break that line up - ruining your base on playback. Use Notepad or my Demo Edit program (follow links in the sig) and you should be fine.
I did a /demorecord of one of my characters in my villain groups' base. My plan is to make a video using this recording in our Base and substitute characters into the scene later. The demo runs fine for the character I recorded it with but when I sub in any other character, all the walls, floors, and ceilings disappear! Other than that, it runs fine and you can see all the base equipment just sort of floating there.
Also, when I open the recorded Demo file, after the "Base" section, all I see is a bunch of ASCII type characters for a good while and then as I scroll down the script, it eventually returns to normal with Players and Objects. Note, this demo file runs fine for the character it was recorded with. If I simply delete all that "garbage", then the demo will not run. If I leave it in and simply substitute the script information for some other character, the demo runs but as I mentioned earlier, floors, walls, and ceilings are gone.
Any ideas? I wasn't sure if this needed to be posted here or in Tech Suppot.
