Had to share this amazing work!
Nifty!
Pretty simple to do actually....not to rain on anyone's parade but you just mask the hair and then remove the color. Then for the comic style there's a filter in photoshop that'll do exactly what is shown. probably took about a max of 20 minutes to do.
Ehh, I guess I'm just really biased against that comic filter. I've never liked the way it makes things look. Very fakish.. *shrug*
perhaps...I actually like every so often. not saying it is the "best" filter in the world, but can come up with some nice looking pieces when used. eitherway...no worries Rox, we all have different tastes after all. ~

Regardless it was still a very nice gesture for someone to do this for ya Showe!
I like the noncomic looking version alot more. But they both are pretty awesome.
Yes, it was a veryvery nice gesture and I'm very much appreciative. I think I agree with ya'll, I do so love the noncomic version. I've always used irl likenesses for my characters, for any MMORPG or any RP community.
So, let me explain something first. I had gotten asked THE longest time ago, if there were any person out there that would portray your character who would it be? I really had trouble with this. So much in fact, that I (determined) searched and searched for someone that could play my main, Showe.
Now, I pictured Showe as having a soft face, and dainty features. Her expression can be completely sweet, almost curious; or when angered, blazingly violent. And she has grey-blue eyes.
Imagine how hard this person was to come by. :P
Finally I found a unknown model that struck me. Only problem is, Showe has white hair, due to the fact that when her powers first erupted, it drained the color out of her hair with the intensity of the power.
(I know this is a long thread, gimme a break. :P) So, I wanted someone to photoshop it, and give the model white hair. I posted a thread about it.
Lycantropus began to work on it immediately and these are the kick-[censored] results.
The comic version.
The noncomic version.
