Lips are imho the hardest part of the face to do realistically <;_;> But I think you did a great job on the basics!

looks good Derek definately keep it up. as Rowr mentioned drawing that which surrounds us "real life" really does help over all skill.
...in regards to responces in general...give er a lil time. yeesh, ya just posted it.... lol~

Lol Derek, it's been less then 10 minutes. We all aren't lurking around at the same time. 
Btw, looks good, echoing Rowr, drawing from life really helps.
It's like someone once told me. Draw from real life whenever you can't. You can't make an accurate 2d picture of a 3d object when your reference is 2d. See it in real life, draw it on paper.

side note....I see the elektra/jennifer garner nod (after beating DD in the school yard fight) every time I see that *nod* from Rowr. not sure why to be honest...but there ya have it.

You think she would make a good Rowr? I need to watch that movie to know what you're talking about. Can't quite visualize it!
...errmm...not sure if you have seen it or not. its right after she tells him her name. shes does this lil one time nod.
whether she would make a good Rowr...dunno...would have to think about that. was just referencing the nod itself for the most part. of course now I am mulling through the various actresses I know that I think would make a good Rowr......thanx....thanx alot.....
