Er, not to be rude, but maybe its a bit early to spam Tanya with screenshots and draw me requests. I didn't see her saying she needed characters to practice on. She just said it was her first time drawing a character that belongs to the game, AKA one of the signatures. We don't want to scare her away with so much spam!

everyone has they're own style...so while you may look at other artists work for idea's try not to compare your work to theirs to hard. its been said before and I believe in it completely...

Hehe, well I'm glad to see this forum has opened up more! Last time I posted here I got a lot of rough critiques and a severe lack of friendliness!
Anyway... In regards to my policy on commisions, see the description to go with this picture of my friends character Divine Prophet
just took a peek at Prophet and I imagine you will be getting a bunch of PM's with the hope they can "spark your interest". heh
in regards to your policy, not a durn thing wrong with it. as such, good on ya. while I would love to have a piece I can totally respect why you have the policy you do. it is loads easier to draw something that inspires us than not...in addition it is infinately more enjoyable as well and worlds less like "work".
in regards to critiques? from what I have seen we still do them on occasion, but it is not outright "bashing". to be honest critiques are typically rare, from what I have seen thus far, unless specifically asked for. otherwise most of the folks here know that everyone is on different level when it comes to art...not to mention the fact that there are a myriad of different styles out there and what works for one doesnt necessarily work for another. the critiques that are offered tend to be put forth with the genuine interest in improving said critiqued piece...
anywho (man, I rambled to long...yeesh)...keep posting your stuff ~
