Would you rather see batman eating a dounut, or crouching in the shadows ready to pounce?

Hahah, that one got me chuckling pretty good... several time... Breatkfast of champions, with the Dark Knight!
As for your "Batman cleaning a catbox" challenge, I accept! Talk about destroying the atmosphere for poor Bats. What's next, Juggernaught walking the dog?
Anyways, about your suggestions: My problem is I tend to draw dark (outlines and sketches included). Even when I do have a working eraser it's not a clean process for me. I've tried to clean up my pictures on the computer in the past, but they never turned out too well. I don't know, maybe I'm a sucker for all the 'character' that the smudges bring, I dunno. I have used the paper trick a couple times, very handy; I just often forget to while I'm jumping from part to part getting it right.
Don't worry about the tangent, it was well worth it.
I draw with boldened lines all the time (if not always). The precision will come with time and the style develops over time.
In future drawings, I'm going to try sketching the basic figure very lightly, then building details *on* that and going from there. May want to try that for good experimentation.
Okay, instead of trying to make everything I draw something to post here, I decided I'd smarten up and just start sketching things with no intention of a final piece. I decided I'd do some 'focus studies'drawing a lot of the same thing. I drew some legs just for experimentation. After a little bit of those (still hate feet btw ), I decided I'd draw a few torsos. Mine are 'okay,' but are always off somehow (especially the connection to the hips.
Out of the middle of no-where the piece evolves into a nice little sketch of my scrapper Atillita. I even got daring and tried shading in her leather pants / chest.
It's very, very rough, but it's really growing on me. I can't decide if I like random doodling or hate it. On one hand, it's very liberating and allows for a lot of experimentation (and poses I wouldn't have just thought of)... on the other hand, the output is rough, and not very complete. Gah!
(Oh, this is drawn pretty small too, it's about the size of my hand. Zero eraser usage, but that part really shows. :P)
