The Wailer Lord laughed, but only for a moment as a boom signaled the breaking of his sonic shields. The heat overwhelmed his body, and he fell. One of the Wailers attacking Marcus was killed by the plasma, leaving the other to attempt to finish the Maltan off.

The King and Queen duo still worked to wreak havoc on the Maltans but also took swipes at Rikti while the second King replaced their shields.

Sounds good. Though there are other high security elevators. One of which the Arachnos will soon reach.

"[censored], we can't keep this up!" Williams yelled as he finished emptying another clip.

"I know! I know!" Marcus roared, letting a left-hook fly at the wailer.

A Guardian let out a low-pitched scream of pain as the King managed to get at his leg for a moment, slicing through flesh and tendons and almost severing the limb.

[I will cover.] Gunman Kul'Bere ran ahead on her long legs, aiming the arm cannon in the King's face and blasting him back as the energy bolt collided with his sonic shield.

She picked up the wounded Guardian like a feather, then retreated back into their new formation, analyzing the situation.

Technically, she was now in command - but she never liked being a leader. And as the Wailer Lord's mighty form twitched on the floor, she had the distinct notion that he wasn't dead.

[Officer!] she turned to one of the COs, [These creatures are what humans call 'demons'. We shall need the arts of a Magus to defeat them soundly.]

[Understood.]

As the others covered him, the officer generated a rift portal. At first, it was only a line in space, but quickly widened into an oval gateway.

[Infiltration troop needs support of aracane type. Requesting Magus Kama'Sur.]

Moments later, a figure resembling the armored Kal'Merus stepped through. Unlike the average Rikti Magus, Kama'Sur had been human before, and he detested not fighting with a helmet.

[I have arrived.] he conveyed, locking eyes with the Wailer King attacking his comrades.

"Freeze." he enunciated, stretching a hand at the demon, and ice started to grow from the floor in an attempt to encase it...

The Wailer sung as he swung back at Marcus. "Eye of the tiger, it's the thrill of the fight!"

The King had just started to get up when he felt really, REALLY cold. He shivered and pointed at the Magus before trying to sing something to take his mind off the cold. "Uuuummmmm.... oh! Me on fire, me so on fire, getting hot, Hot, HOT!" The cold vanished for a few seconds as he screamed at the Magus, then leapt for its, face to tear viciously.

The Death Mage and his crew walked in an underground tunnel just below floor B-26 ((where the Longbow were slaughterd at)). High Mage Tarxus walked through the tunnels his Fire, Earth, Air, and Ice Casters had dug for him.

"High Mage Tarxus, we are about 100 yards away from completion" Informed Tarxus's Agony Mage.

"Exlent, have the tunnel done in 30 minutes" Tarxus told The Agony Mage.

"Mage Tarxus" started the Energy Mage "We are in potsion to strike the Tsoo hard and fast.

"Good, once this tunnel is done i want it filled with watter then i want the other end filled and the watter sent to a boil, we will then use it to our advantage" Tarxus explained.

33 minutes or so passed and the Casters reported to Tarxus."Exelent, Flood this tunnel" Tarxus orderd as he hoverd out of the hole and into the Freezer room where the Longbow had been slaughterd just momments before.

Watter rushed from the Water Casters hands and flooded the tunnel, then the Fire Caster stepped up to the hole and set the watter to just above a boil, then he stepped away and let the Earth Caster seal the open end of the hole with a big boulder.

"Exelent work, its just a little cold in here" Tarxus complained

At that minute the Fire Caster melted the ice on Tarxus's face and set the food in the back on fire. Tarxus and his crew walked out of the freezer, as Tarxus was walking out he tripped on a body of a Longbow Rifleman. Tarxus bent down and looked for a dog tag on him, atlast he found one and ripped it off and read "Private Frist Class Johnson, Strike Force Gamma Devision 2" Tarxus felt sorry for this Longbow as his head was turned 360 degrees, had his legs broken, and had a bite taken out of his neck. He didnt want to admit it but he would rather died than this poor Longbow, Tarxus didnt want to be a Death Mage, his father who was a Grand Death Mage of Thron Isle forced him to become a Death Mage instead of a Life Mage.

Tarxus walked out of the freezer room, and continued down the hall.

"Risin' up to the challenge of our rival..." Marcus sneered, ducking the swing and springing up to headbutt the Wailer's chin.

Aaron heard the scrapping and stuttering of damaged robotics. He wasted no time in preparing for the worst.
"Fusiliers! Line formation! Weapons Ready!"
The automatons fell into line, similar in formation to what they had done when first opening the door. The two Jaegers opened up and put out their guns, the two turreted chain guns swirling about searching for targets. When the damaged Guardian emerged from it’s hiding, Aaron sighed in almost relief. While a Guardian was nothing to be trifled with, it was probably better then what ever caused the carnage spread across the room.
"FIRE!"
The four Storm Rifles cracked to life, the shells screaming downrange and bursting on the front armor. The smoke cleared and showed the initial barrage has near zero affect. The Jaegers threw copious amounts of firepower at the Longbow robot, which simply pinged off its frontal armor. However, some hit home into the long gashes in the chest, ripping various important cords. One of which was the damaged hydraulic cable for the injured leg. Normally the cord would have been able to take the strike, but the pressure inside was so great as the leg had been collapsed. The piece of broken lead was the final straw and it burst. However, not before it had fired its Photon Cannon. The searing hot lasers stuck into the floor and the walls, making dark scorch marks.
Despite its mortal wound the Guardian still pushed forward, practically tumbling over its own momentum. It showed no signs of stopping as it careened at Aaron and his Fusiliers.
"Scatter! Get the hell out of the way!"
Beside himself he pushed one of the Automatons out of his way in his search for a safe spot from the deranged robots berserker charge. The Jaegers still continued to fire, adding insult to injury. Only the previously damaged automaton still was in the way. The huge multi-ton beast slammed into the weaker robot, collapsing it under the weight. Falling onto its chest, the Guardian slid over the floor, emitting a horrible wailing screech as it went. Finally coming to a stop against the same door Aaron and his followers had entered. The Guardian still attempted to fight with the zeal of a cage lion. It fired its Proton Cannon in all directions, singing the uniforms of the Automatons. The Nemesis pumped round after round into it, finally the combined damage silencing its struggle.
The largest remaining part of the crushed automaton was its rifle, which was tossed away by the impact of the Guardian. Sighing in relief, Aaron emerged from his cover and the other robots, along with Freis gathered around him.
"Lets get the hell out of this room before it decides to surprise us again with something like that."

The Tsoo squad watched the security cameras silently.

Arachnos. The Malta. Rikti. Carnival. Wailers.

"Akabane..." Da-wei said warningly, "This will not do. So many have already found this place, it is unlikely we will be able to enact our plan."

"Any other opinions?" Akabane turned to her squad neutrally, a grim frown on her face.

"It is likely that some of them may not have the same aims as us." Na-li mused. "Perhaps we can forge a truce with one."

"Regardless, we must not stay here." Haoxiang growled as the Ancestor Spirt phased through a wall. "They will be approaching soon."

Hajime shook his head. "This will not be a problem." he murmured as he knelt beside the mainframe. He already had acquired much of the data...but now he rerouted the wireless connection of the cameras to a small PDA unit he carried. The mainframe hummed to shutdown and the PDA flipped through the various cameras in the building. "This way, we may take our advantage with us - and not compromise our mission."

The Far Fire nodded approvingly. "Good work, Hajime. Wei-li, Na-li, take up flanking scout positions. We must move on. Further in."

"Hai."

With that, the Tsoo moved out, like silent shadows.

A shield the Guradians had dropped on the Magus dissipated the destructive energy, but still let careening noise through. Kama'Sur thought he felt his brain try to escape his head - even the worst heavy metal bands were better than this!

Still, he knew a thing or two about demons, and as he kicked the Walier away with a powerful roundhouse kick, the armorsuit augmenting his strength, he quickly reached down to one of the bodies of the fallen lesser Wailers.

A severed finger with claw attached was exactly what he was looking for, and as the King screamed, turning about for another go at his face, the Magus ripped the skin from the finger and poked the bone in the King's direction twice, mumbling something incoherent.

The demon seemed to crash into a brick wall in mid-air, unable to break through the barrier the Magus had cast across the room with the slain demon's blood and marrow.

"Malta Operatives: seek cover beyond this wall!" Kama'Sur shouted to Marcus and the others, "Ward: protects this area!"

Then he motioned to the others of his troop, and the Gunmen opened concentrated fire on the King trying again and again to smash through the barrier...

There was a long corridor confronting Tarxus. Several doors lined each side and in the distance could be seen a four way intersection. The doors on the left opened up into an armory while the right most doors opened into a barracks. The armory doors were closed, locked, and could stand up to a rampaging Statesman for about a minute. Inside were charging racks, about half of them full of human-sized Invader class robots, and several rows of lockers containing various armaments from pistols to rocket launchers.

The barracks was a typical military barracks. Two long lines of bunks along either wall with bathrooms in the back. The room was in disarray, with clothes and personnel effects scattered all over the floor.

*******************************************

The first thing the Tsoo saw as they exited the mainframe room was a destroyed Longbow Guardian. Nothing much seemed amiss at the scene, despite the fact that the destruction seemed to be caused by claws, unless one payed attention to the sounds that were coming from the mechanoid corpse. The noise sounded almost like that of an animal worrying at a kill.

If the Tsoo came closer to the fallen mecha or made any loud noise, the beast that had assisted in the destruction of the Guardian would be alerted and attempt to kill all of them. The creature was shaped much like a dog, except instead of skin and fur it had scales and a boney ridge running down its back. It's arms looked normal until they reached the elbow, at which point they split into two different forearms. All four hands were tipped with three very long claws that could cut through steel. It's head was elongated and contained its jaw was full of needle sharp teeth.

The squad froze.

Hand motions flew in frantic sign language.

Haoxiang disappeared, moving silently to the opposite end of the corridor, and Dawei vanished as well.

That left the Yellow Ink Crane, the Far Fire, and the Dragon and Tiger Enforcers.

Na-li and Wei-li exchanged glances. The boy was worried, but his older sister wore a neutral frown, her hand on her sword hilt. She knew that if the beast was alerted to their presence, it was their job to draw him off their superior officers.

Akabane nodded briefly, tossing her black hair out of her red eyes.

She moved forward, silently, slipping through the shadows.

((Oh joy, a demon dog from hell))
As Tarxus and his Mages walked throught the Barracks and took a turn left where they say a HUGE room with a beast in the middle of the room and Tsoo on the other side.

Tarxus sent his Casters out to confront the Beast. The Air Caster threw air at the beast, the Wind was knocked out of the beast as it was knocked back on its back. It stood up and ran to the side of Tarxus attempting to hit Tarxus with his claws, Tarxus cast a spell of sickness on the beast. The Fire Caster stepped up and threw an inferno of fire at the beast knocking it back as it was hit with Air and Fire at the same time. Then the Watter and Earth Casters stepped up hurling boulders and chuncks of ice at the Beast.

"STOP, let the Tsoo finish this beast off " Tarxus spoke as he orded his Agony and Energy Mages to not kill the beast. The beast got up and let out a roar of anger when the Air Mage stepped foreward and he threw a rock at the Air Mage and broke the Mages legs.

"Are you ok?" Tarxus asked the Air Caster

"Yes High Mage Tarxus, im ok just a broken leg nothing serious." The Air Caster spoke.

"Get up and watch the Tsoo" orded Tarxus.

OOC: *pokes Essex* You control the thing now. I gave you enough info to have it put up a good fight. And let's call it a Zer- uhh.... Repling.

And Shadow. The situation is as this.

Nemesis in upper floor warehouse.
Arachnos is middle of the base. Circle of Thorns are near them.
Wailers, Rikti, and Malta are next to an elevator shaft fighting each other.
Tsoo are a little below base middle just outside of a security control room.
And everyone else I forget.

EDIT: Apparently the CoT are near to the Tsoo. Oh well.

The beast looked up, slathering with venemous drool as it regarded the approaching Far Fire. Akabane's eyes narrowed as the beast let out a resounding growl.

Her hand flicked out to the side, a single flame blinking to life on it like the lighting of a match. She leapt into the air.

From behind, Hajime concentrated, sending a psychic blast at the creature. It roared in fury as it suddenly found itself momentarily stunned.

That was enough time for Wei-li and Na-li to move in. The two of them charged it, Na-li with sword drawn and Wei-li with claws extended. The creature was strong, however, and Hajime's stun wore off just as they were approaching. It lunged at Wei-li, jaws open to snap his arm clean off, but he changed direction suddenly, lashing his claws across its nose. Na-li plunged her sword into its side as he did, a ki-ai tearing from her throat.

One of its forearms lashed at the Dragon Enforcer as she slashed at him and lashed her backwards, bleeding. Gritting her teeth in annoyance, Na-li skidded to a halt and propelled herself back at it.

That brief moment was enough for Wei-li to get in way over his head, however. The boy against the huge demonic beast was a tad unmatched, and it soon had lodged its needle-like teeth around his mid-section, beginning to toss the boy around like a chew-toy.

Wei-li was no child, though he was young, and scowled in pain and anger, driving his claws into its face as it tossed him about. The loss of blood made him dizzy - that is until Dawei teleported behind him and with an arcane chant, restored his health. The Sorcerer's storm began to flow around him, disorienting the creature

Akabane just watched, flames at her fingertips. She saw no need to intervene as of yet.

Haoxiang did the same. He invisibly observed the Circle mages with a scowl.

((We got mother****ing razor snakes in a mother****ing base!...You'll understand soon enough.))

Reloading and recouping from the encounter, the Nemesis continued through the warehouse, now far more vigilant then before. Still farther down the corridors was a guard check point. A few cameras watched over, but Aaron predicted no one would be watching. No one that was in any position of doing something about their intrusion, anyways. Approaching the guardhouse, Aaron saw the Red and White colors of longbow. Not taking any more chances, he ordered his men to fire into the house. Wood splintered and the dull thuds of bursting Storm Rifle rounds sounded off. Confident in his kill, Aaron continued forward. Freis coughed.
"Damn, smells horrible. Like burnt steak."
Aaron agreed and looked into the checkpoint. The two Red and White figured were indeed very dead, though not from the gunshot wounds. Both men’s faced were horribly contorted, the skin tight around their skulls. The eyes had burst and oozed down their faces. Mouths agape in expressions of their last moments being incredibly hellish. Aaron vomited on the spot. The two corpses still sizzled quietly, whatever acidic agent working deeper into the bone marrow of the dead men. Backing out, he closed the door. Freis just stared at him. He could tell something was very wrong.
"What the hell was that about Aaron?"
Aaron wiped some bile off his face.
"Don’t...Don’t go in there. Lets go. NOW. Fusiliers! Consider any and all movement to be hostile. Do not hesitate to fire unless otherwise told not to! Weapons armed and at the ready."
Freis somewhat concerned, looked no further into the matter. He had no interest in what horrifying scene lay inside. Aaron, moving at a stiff clip came across an airlock. He looked about and recognized a standard issue fingerprint reader.
"[censored]!"
He pounded his fist into his palm, then against the wall. He was tense and rushed, and the security systems in place weren’t making it any easier. Grabbing the bayonet off his belt he pointed to Freis.
"You stay here. If you hear anything, leave this base. Fast. Something has gone very, very wrong here."
Moving back to the guardhouse he opened the door. The exact same two dead bodies met him, though the sizzling had stopped. Grabbing one of the hands, he sliced off a finger. He dropped the now mangled limb back into place. Pocketing the Pilfered digit he ran back. The scanner whirred and opened. They moved through quickly and it closed. Aaron placed a barrel in between the door however, incase they had to retreat quickly. Freis pointed to the walls.
"Look. The air vents are ripped open. Would this have anything to do with your anxiety attack back there?"
"God...I hope not."
For the rest of the short corridor they walked in silence. A small glass elevator was at the end. They group walked in, though it was crowded. Going down, Freis looked as the floors passed the glass doors with increasing speed. He could've sworn he saw something else though, something that he knew couldn’t be. He shook his head, and checked his medical kit. Inside was a concealed Spaz-12 Automatic shotgun, a very big no-no for any medic.
Hey Aaron, would it be fair to say that with recent events all standard procedure is out the window?"
"...Yeah I suppose. Why?"
"No reason."
He checked the shotgun again and smiled. Aaron just eyed him suspiciously and turned back to the door. The elevator was slowing. The second to last floor whizzed by the door, and the final level was in sight. Aaron's first observation was the floor seemed to be moving, almost like waves were traveling across it. Then he noticed that the waves weren’t single organisms, but rather dozens of tiny snake like animals.
"Christ! Freis! Look at this!"
Aaron's words fell on deaf ears as Freis had already seen it. He reached into his sack and removed the Spaz-12.
"Hold the doors closed. Stop the elevator. We'll fight from here."
Aaron now noticed how Freis eyes had seemed to almost glaze over as he clutched the shotgun. His jaw was shut like a vice and his knuckles bone white. He was terrified. When Aaron paused in stopping the elevator Freis snapped.
"What are you waiting for? Stop the [censored] elevator! Stop it now!"
Aaron jumped and slammed the emergency stop button. The elevator screeched to a halt. A claxon emergency bell went off, though it was impossible to tell how far it went for. The snakes paused in the motions and looked up. One by one they recognized the moving shapes inside. They stood silent. Watching the glass chamber with empty black eyes the animalistic instinct kicked in. Foooooooood... Charging the base of the elevator, they threw themselves into the glass like hail. The occupants noticed something bizarre however. When they hit the glass, they made long gashes.
"Fire! Fire through the glass!"
Freis shot onto the pack of snakes gore flying back into the room. The Automatons fired blindly into the room, snakes being torn apart by the caliber rounds. The Jaegers just fired in great sweeps, the shell casings piling up and falling out of the shattered glass. One snake flew through and Aaron tried to smash it, but when he reached down it flailed about, slicing his ankles and the back of his hand. He screams in pain and shot it at point blank, a stupid thing to do. The Storm Rifle shell burst, tearing a whole in the bottom of the bottom of the elevator.
"Plug the whole!"
One of the fusiliers simply put is foot over the hole, the snakes bouncing harmlessly off. Another snake flew in and bit Freis foot. Inside the mouth a sharpened tongue injecting a weak sleep agent into the Surgeons blood stream. He stumbled; emptying the rest of the shotgun, then fell onto his face. Aaron panicked and stomped on the snake, the bottom of his foot being horribly cut. Freis' vision went black...
When he awoke they were on the ground. In the back round some of the robots were stomping about, crushing any surviving snakes.
"Glad to see you're up. Weren’t out long. Maybe 5 minutes."
He rubbed his eyes, realizing how badly they were cut.
"What happened to the snakes?"
"We killed then...well...most of them."
In the back a Fusilier shot something out of sight.
"What is going on here Aaron?"
"For the moment...I don’t think anyone knows."
The two sat in silence on the floor, while the Fusiliers went about their grim business.

The Dragon and Tiger Enforcers continued their assault on the Repling as the being viciously clawed at them. Much blood flowed to the floor, but Dawei's calculating eyes saw every wound. When he wasn't restoring the siblings, the Sorcerer fired dark blasts at the beast.

Finally, Hajime got an opening. Stunning it again and following up with a pair of shuriken, he called over his shoulder to his commander. "Ima da yo!" Wei-li, Dawei and Na-li leapt to the sides.

Akabane needed no prompting. Instantly her body exploded in flame and she lashed her hand out as though backhanding the air. Flames assaulted the Repling and it roared in pained rage, flailing about as its thin fur caught fire. The smell of charred flesh ran thick through the hallway. But before it had a chance to counter, Wei-li had run back in, thrusting his claws into its throat. Na-li descended from above, plunging the sword up to its hilt into its back.

With a final groaning cry, it fell.

".....What...was that?" Hajime breathed, standing to his feet.

"It is like nothing I have ever seen before." Dawei murmured, healing some of the peripheral wounds of the Enforcers.
