The Tenacious 3
Lol. Radioactive beer. That's hilarious. Keep writing!

Let us once again join the tale of the origin of the Tenacious 3. Last time we left our heroes, Adam Beerman had just been thrown into a vat of radioactive beer. How did this affect his life? What did he do next?
Adam awoke with a groan. His body was sore and his bed seemed less comfy than usual. As he shook the cobwebs from his head, Adam thought about last night. It was nearly a month ago that Johnny Stamp threw him into that vat of radioactive beer. Last night was the first night Adam fully understood what that meant.
For the past thirty days, Adam Beerman had taken an extended leave from his post as the CEO of BeerTech Industries. Many thought he was trying to romance a girl, the rumor going that the girl was the Presidents niece, and Adam was preparing for a run at the governorship. That couldnt be further from the truth. In reality Adam was testing himself and his new found powers. Since the moment he made initial contact with his press secretarys hand immediately after the accident, Adam knew something was up. He found that with a simple thought, when he touched another person, they would become impaired, often complaining of blurry vision and other similar symptoms. They would often make these complaints in a loud voice as well.
Since this discovery, Adam had locked himself away in his stately estate, BeerManor, to get control of the situation. He tried using the powers on himself, but to no avail. For about a week, he became very depressed, and tried to drink himself into a stupor, but no matter how many shots of rum he drank or how many screwdrivers he made, he couldnt get drunk. After that, he rededicated himself to finding how far he can push himself. He found out that if he concentrated hard enough, yellowish beams would shoot out of his hands. These beams were both physical in nature, as Adam immediately knocked down and broke an ancient vase that his dad bought, and extended his powers, as when he experimented on the poor mailman who came to BeerManor. After being hit with the beam and falling to the ground, the postman staggered to his truck, nearly crashed into a tree, and then drove off. Adam was worried, and called the police, who then pulled over the postman and found out he had a blood alcohol level of .21. Adam knew from that point on he would have to be careful with his powers.
After a month in relative seclusion, Adam was ready to meet the world. But he wasnt going to first meet them as Adam Beerman quite yet. Adam had ruminated on what Johnny Stamp had said to him the night of the accident, about how people expect corruption. How people tolerate criminals like Stamp. And about how Adam could easily become one of those types of people. Adam did not agree with any of those points. He felt people should have a better view of the world. To prove it to himself and to Stamp, Adam knew what he had to do with his new powers: he had to fight corruption and evil where ever he could.
Last night was the first night Adam tried out his new philosophy. He made up a costume for himself, because he knew that if anyone saw the richest man under 25 fight crime, they would spin it another way. So Adam called on the sewing skills he learned from all the nannies that raised him and came up with an outfit. It was burgundy, blue, and gold, a subtle nod to the colors of BeerTech. A Big B was displayed prominently on his chest. He wore a mask, but it only covered his eyes. He knew that to win over the public, he would have to be able to flash that Beerman smile. After he donned the outfit, he went to a notorious section of town, known for its high crime rate. Sure enoguh, afer a few minutes, Adam found his first opportunity. There were two muggers trying to take the purse from an old lady. They got some good shots in on Adam, landing a few body blows. But as one tried to escape, Adam hit him with a beam and that mugger fell over. The other one backed away slowly after seeing that.
What....who are you? said the now frightened criminal. He was no longer backing up as he had reached a wall.
I am a cleaner. I am going to clean up the streets. You know, take out trash like you. If you must know what name you can call me, you can call me Beer-Man, Adam said, smiling as he reached out and grabbed the perp. His hands glowed yellow and the man passed out. He turned to the woman who was being mugged, and handed her the purse. Hearing police sirens in the distance, Adam turned to escape, only to be stopped by the woman.
Thank you, kind sir. You are truly a hero! remarked the old lady.
Adam then slipped into night, barely staying out of view of the police. Now, in the morning, Adam went to the papers. On the front page screamed the headline, ADAM BEERMAN STILL NOT SEEN, RUINING HIS COMPANY. But in the local section, in an article no more than five paragraphs long, said this: WOMAN SAVED FROM MUGGERS BY MASKED VIGILANTE, POLICE BAFFLED. Adam put down the paper and smiled. He felt like he had been given a new life, one with purpose. It was going to be very interesting from now on...

There is a trio of people called the Tenacious 3 that roam the streets looking to end evil in all its forms. Join us as we look back at the origins and see the stories behind the heroes.
It was supposed to be a night of celebration. It was the annual Charity Ball, hosted by Adam Beerman, the CEO of BeerTech. You see Adam was forced into the role of CEO of his family-owned corporation when he was 18 because his father wanted to teach him responsibility. So his father gave his son an ultimatum: either Adam assumes the leadership position at the head of the family, or his younger sister does so. Adam reluctantly agreed to head the corporation, knowing that if his sister took over, her life's ambitions would never come true. Adam had no such great goal, so he threw himself in front of that bus. In the following three years since he took over, Adam's life had been thrown one curveball after another, as he tried to run a multinational corporation without any previous experience.
The only event he looked forward to each year was this Charity Ball. Here, he could escape from the numbers and figures and layoffs of his job. He might be the richest man in the world under 25, but he still felt greatly stressed. Luckily for him, sitting next to him on the dias in the front of the ballroom was his two best friends, and two best employees: Press Secretary Stephen Cohen and Head of Research Sean MacIntyre. One of his first acts of CEO, Adam fired his dad's old employees and hired people he felt comfortable to be around. Stephen was an old school friend, and Sean was a certified genius. Adam felt content.
Of course, this feeling did not last long. One of Adam's pet peeves about being the head of BeerTech was the media. While his father loved talking to the press, Adam despised them and they knew it. Lately, they had gotten hold of a scandal involving Adam. Seems he was in a brief business partnership with a known gangster, one Johnny Stamp. Adam hadn't known about the man's criminal record at the time of the deal. But the press soon found out and Adam was embarassed and quickly squashed the deal.
Despite Adam's appeals to let the story die, the press would not let go. Currently, Stephen was at the podium, trying to spin the story once again, months after the situation was rectified. Adam sunk lower in his chair. He hated how people could only see one side of himself, the apparently easily manipulated, playboy side. His image was taking a beating and all Adam wanted to do was stand up and say, "This isn't me. I am so much more than a spoiled, rich kid." He tried to donate to charities, tried funding good works, but no one ever saw those actions in bold headlines on the front page of the newspaper. Stephen was quickly losing control of the audience, as more and more reporters badgered him about the deal.
Adam rose, thinking to himself that he should never have allowed reporters into the Ball. "Even at my own event, I am reduced to nothing," he thought. He cleared his throat and spoke to the crowd. "Ladies and gentlemen, this situation is over with. Mr. Stamp and I were in business together, briefly, that much is true. I, however, did not know of his past actions. Mr. Stamp is a lowlife and I am saddened that I had to encounter him. I can assure you no one stands more for truth and justice than I do. Mr. Stamp is not representative of BeerTech and is in no way representative of me. And if you don't believe me, then maybe you should take a closer look at the invitation that got you into this event. Thank you."
With that, Adam walked off the dias and out a backdoor. He wandered the streets around the ballroom, still in his tuxedo. He finally came across one of the many BeerTech warehouses throughout the city. This one housed the research that BeerTech was doing for the government. He went inside, using a master key. He walked upon the scaffolding that rose above the various tanks, holding various liquid substances. He sighed loudly.
"So you think I am a lowlife?" said a voice in the darkness. Johnny Stamp emerged on the walkway. "You shook my hand, then disavowed me?"
"Mr. Stamp, you were not truthful with me. You deceived me, and if I hate something, it is deceit," Adam said, after a moment of surprise. "You are the worse of what this fine city has to offer."
"Well that's a laugh," Stamp said approaching Adam. "Your company practically owns this city, and I am scum? Maybe that's because I am byproduct of what surrounds me," he continued waving his arms around. "All I wanted was a few million dollars. You could have spared that. Who cares what the truth is? People expect corruption at the highest levels of business. That's what makes America so great."
Adam stood indigantly. "That's not what I stand for. That's not what my father stood for, not what BeerTech stands for. It is not what the fair city deserves either."
Stamp smiled evilly, "Well then, maybe I am wrong. But then maybe I am right and this city doesn't deserve you as well!"
With that, Stamp lunged towards Adam. The two tussled. Fists were thrown twenty feet above the warehouse's floor. Suddenly Stamp had Adam pinned against a railing. "Pity, rich boy, we could have ruled this city," gloated Stamp. "I don't want to rule, I want to do what's best!" replied Adam.
Stamp then hurled Adam over the railing and presumably onto the hard concrete floor. If one presumed that, they would be wrong. For Adam instead fell into a vat. A vat full of beer. Radioactive beer. Stamp presumed that Adam had fallen onto the floor and died, so he tried to made an escape. However, a nearby guard had heard the tussle, and the police were waiting outside for his appearance.
As the police entered the warehouse, Adam dragged himself out of the vat. No one had yet to see him. He glowed yellow. Sean and Stephen quickly found him, luckily after he stopped glowing.
"I am glad you are alright, Adam," said Stephen, sticking out his hand for Adam to shake. As Adam grabbed Stephen hand, Adam's hand briefly glows again. Only Adam noticed this, though Stephen seemed to briefly lose his balance. Whoa, that was weird, thought Adam after he quickly withdraws his hand.
"I feel a little queasy," said Stephen. "It's probably the fish they served at the Ball," remarked Sean. Adam remained quiet as he pondered what exactly that radioactive beer had done to him...
