"I wanna be Mighty!" - ED/I6 - Inv/EM Tank guide
Alright, it's a lot of weeks later and I haven't updated. Why? Frankly, I don't feel it. I don't think Tankers are in a place where they're particularly valuable or fun right now, so I'm holding off, praying for changes.
If I get back to Tanking, I'll update the guide. Until then, this stuff is still pretty current, so it should be fine.
one question: why in the world are you waiting until 49 to take build up?
No accuracy in your attacks? you crazy the tohit buff in Invincibility is really small. I have 2 acc's in all my attacks to make sure I hit reds and up consistently, can't punchvoke if I can't hit Nemesis with vengeance on is my current bane of existence.
You might want to move one dmg slot from Energy Punch to AS, you get a little more out of it. You could move some slots from Fly elsewhere if you need them unless you plan on flying and tanking at the same time. Other than it's pretty close to the build I'm playing except I went the aid self route instead of REl/REn.

This particular build was a respec build, and I just stuck it in there because it needs no real slotting.
In all honesty, though, I rarely use Build Up on my Tank. Aside from taking out Sappers, which I can use red insps for, I can get by without it.

Well, two things:
1. I don't really mind base accuracy that much, and the boost from Inv is good when you're surrounded.
2. I think there must've been a bug in the hero planner, 'cos I do have one ACC in the bigger attacks.
I hear this all the time on my teams
Thanks for the build, Foo!
I'll likely do a REAL post-ED, post-I6 version of this guide, but consider this an interim solution. I skipped on an I5 guide as it was clearly an update in flux, and I could see stuff building in CoV beta.
If you're looking to use up your respec before I6 drops (which you might as well, as they'll give another), then my advice is to 3-slot everything except the passives.
Here's the build I'll be using my free respec on before I6 drops:

You'll note there's friggin' slots everywhere. This build will be very endurance-efficient, and, either amazingly or disgustingly (depending upon one's opinion), will have very comparable damage output to before the ED changes and pretty much the best defenses you're going to be able to get without heading into the pools.
If the fancy takes you, you could conceivably drop RPD or Energy Punch, Tough Hide, and another power of your choice, and opt into the Fighting Pool for Tough and Weave.
I'll be along a few weeks after I6 with an ED and hopefully updated Inv changes build guide.
