5 Easy Steps to Defeating the Psionic Clock King

I did him recently with a team. I was on my Stone/Fire Tanker with well slotted Minerals. I was planning on using Hyper Phase (temp power from the Warburg Patrol mission, a form of Phase Shift) for the alpha, then tanking him with Minerals. We'd already cleared the mobs up to the King with me using Minerals, so I didn't expect to have any problem. But a teammate gave me this great idea...
Step 1: Buy several Awakens.
Step 2: Go with people who have never faced the King before.
Step 3: When you get close, start explaining that his alpha will drop even Tankers, etc.
Step 4: Watch as someone runs up to him in the middle of your warnings and face-plants.
Step 5: Pass out Awakens as needed and deal with him like you would any other AV.

The easiest answer is usually the right one.
For ANY AV or difficult fight, you can simply do the following and have a far better chance of coming out alive.
Inventory setup (simple colors for most to understand -- I hate the names which many have never read):
3 break frees (light purple), 4 cabs (blues end+), 7 lucks (dark purple), 1 awaken, 5 greens (heals)
(1) pop 1 bf and 4 lucks prior to alpha -- if a pet isn't available to alpha, then have the hardiest character run in first and alpha, BUT HAVE EVERYONE ELSE CLOSE BEHIND to spread out the follow-on attacks
(2) every 20 seconds or so, pop another luck -- this should help keep a constant layer of 2-3 lucks on you, so they don't all expire at once and leave you exposed
(3) hack away
(4) -- if you die -- this is key! -- use the awaken, then a break free (so you don't stumble around), then 2-4 heals, 2 lucks, and an end+ or two, then re-enable your toggles --- this is the BEST WAY (assuming there are no rezzers around) to get back in the action without being immediately killed again
(5) dance on his corpse
My Fire Tank has taken him down with some help several(read 15+)times. He runs all the Toggles from Fiery Aura & the Toggles from Leaping,he carries green & blue inspirations and uses them as needed 
I have used this combo for a year.Once we were all dead but he only had a sliver of health after takeing down the team(1 Tank,1 Defender,and 1 Controller) Just as I thought I saw a sneer begin to cross his face,I remembered that I could Rise like a Phenix. And He ended up face planting as well LOL
