5th Column Remembrance Poetry

This is a thread to post your poetry remembering the 5th column and how great it is. And how sad we all are now that our favorite villain group has become COBRAAAA.



I'll start it off.



I have been one acquainted with the nacht
Adapted from Robert Frost

I have been one acquainted with the nacht.
I have fought on through pain--And felt their pain.
I have outfought the strongest they have stocked.

I have lived through the saddest change of all.
I have passed by the Archon on his beat
And dropped my eyes, the sight of him appalls.

I have stood still and stopped the sound of feet
When from away a battle cry
Came over houses from another street,

Best not to call it back or say a good-bye;
And further still at an unearthly height,
A strange new sentry patrols the sky

For this my favorite villain group was hocked,
I have been one acquainted with the nacht.

Hey Daddio, the 5th column was taken down.

Disassembled to the ground. ((snap snap))

PC PC a far cry. Villian groups like the 5th column should not die, only make one cry. ((snap))

You'll be missed at your the corner store replaced by those in Rommels uniforms.....

Patrotic Heros by the dozen, ((snap)) will flock into the Icon Store to see Serge ((snap, snap)) to redress the costume of Yesteryear Red White and Blue is now way to clear. ((snap))

I'll seek out the resistance and let them know even tho I hunted them with zeal, I shall help them even the odds and take down the council goon squads with Zest and appeal.

They too will learn to run in fear when they see the Colors of Red White and Blue coming for them, that is a promise My dear 5th column friends....((snap snap snap snap snap snap .....))
