I typed my hero descriptions in Notepad so I could cut and paste them into the ID card, so pasting them here is no problem:

Jade Dragon - FF/Rad Magic Defender

Exploring a pyramid in the ancient Egyptian city of Amarna, Richard Conner stumbled across a secret chamber. There he found the jade statuette of a dragon, which bestowed on him the power to summon and control a greenish energy - the life force of the Earth, according to the Egyptians. Taking the name Jade Dragon, Richard and his friend Blue Diamond, who also found an artifact in the pyramid, have come to Paragon City to learn to use their powers for the good of all mankind.

Blue Diamond - Inv/SS Magic Tanker

(The description is meant to imply Blue Diamond's character, as if he's speaking)

Although he's no archeologist, Robert Davidson still managed to stumble across this secret chamber under a pyramid in Egypt. There he found a large blue diamond, which gave him a pretty heavy duty punch, as well as tough skin, and even a flashy costume. Along with his friend Jade Dragon, (who was the one who really found that pyramid) Robert has come to Paragon City to put the beat down on some punks. Blue Diamond's in town!

Battlecry: (BD is my only character with a battlecry) Hello stupid! Time to go to JAIL!

Bloodwolf - MA/Reflex Natural Scrapper

Little is known of the hero named Bloodwolf. The Crey database connects him with Steve McDonald, who was convicted of murdering his wife and supposedly died in a prison riot. It was later discovered that Steve was framed by the true murderer, a corrupt police chief. It's certainly known that Bloodwolf seems to hate corruption, leaving behind his mark, the head of a wolf in blood red paint, as a warning to those who would abuse his power. Crey Industries has already felt his presense a few times.

Sandy - Electric/Fire Technology Blaster

15 year old Sandy's father went to work for Crey Industries, hoping to develop a prothesis to help his daughter walk. He succeeded, but Sandy was then kidnapped by Crey agents, seeking to activate a hidden feature meant to turn her into a military cyborg. Her father was able to stop the process, but not before it destroyed most of her body. Sandy has sworn revenge against Crey, refusing to take a hero name, because "I won't let Crey take anything else away from me."

Joe Everyman - Illusion/Kinetic Natural Controller

Little is known about Joe Everyman. We're not even sure he is registered as a superhero. He simply appears on the streets, stepping out of the crowd to stop a crook or two. He does not appear to have any powers, although he does have some sort of flash weapon that he uses to blind his opponents momentarily. Beyond that, he just relies on untrained, street fighting tactics, and his ability to appear to be just another Paragon City citizen.

When it came time for him to activate the switch, John did as always and quietly muttered one last statement to the condemned..."Time to ride the lightnin', McGee."

Real Name: Jana Marie

Hero: The Demon Mistress

Magical Scrapper Dark/Dark

...on the shroud of Virtue.

Background Story:

Limbo is a strange place. That is the only real memory that existed for her. Time and space have little meaning there. Neither did much else. The little she understands, she hears from what sounds like whispers enveloping her. The Guardians of that “place” (if one can call it that) never really spoke much anyway.

It would seem strange to be faced with the need to explain it after one has been there. Of course, it is rare that one will refer to Limbo as a real place somehow… in Purgatory where one’s soul waits for it’s time to move on to its new eternity. Though she could not have known it then, nor ever realize the extent of the circumstances that would change her life… and death… forever…

In what now seems like a previous lifetime, Jana Marie worked as an FBI Agent. Her martial arts training, her determination, her will, her fiery attitude to get the job done… they all spoke volumes about her as a person. “Top notch Agent. We need more do-gooders like you in this city,” her director once told her. She would never forget that.

See… Jana, on an FBI undercover sting operation, worked as a dancer in a private club owned by “The Big Guy”, as he was known; a notorious criminal figure of the Underworld Syndicate. She could remember this much at least, and not much more, for that day, she died… killed by an FBI mole and Underworld agent that blew her cover.

At this point, the story would be over, if not for what would happen next.

Jana, who was found later that day bleeding to death on the steps of the nightclub, was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead. But what really happened that day? Well, taken from her account… one moment she was dancing on stage, and the next she was suspended in air, as if floating above everything, with little thought of things as simple as where she was. During this incorporeal state, she could care less about her surroundings, or anyone else for that matter.

She DID have one vivid recollection. That of a human looking hand. Much like yours or mine, but different in a way she could not explain. As it slowly reached out for her, a finger touch her for a brief second, and then was whisked away… her body being pulled backwards rapidly from what could only be explained as a dark cavern of sorts.

Of course death has many meanings. We know this now because within minutes of that pronouncement, Jana’s eyes opened and she began to stare around the room. The doctors stared at her in awe, knowing full well that this person WAS dead. She stared at them, but could not speak for the longest time. Her eyes, normally a light blue shade, had turned black as coal. Not much else had changed on her, except for the cold, eerie feeling on those around her.

If only it had been that easy, for it would not seem obvious to most how much dominance death has on ones essence, even if only for a brief instant. It took her some time to figure it out. Most people would have gone mad. She still hears the whispers; she still feels the emotions of a mortal. But she holds her own and is in reality, mortal no longer. Touched by death, and waking up in the mortal world once more, her life has become one of vengeance and her own brand of righteousness, though now hiding her as yet unforgotten identity from those who would harm her… and even those she once respected. Those that see more than a shadow, call her…

The Demon Mistress

The spirits have granted her exceptional abilities that could only be explained as “mystical”. The have enhanced her already exceptional martial prowess and have even given her greater powers of the Netherworld to protect herself from those that would harm her. She did not know why. She did not care. She had been given a second chance to bring justice to those who have been wronged just one too often.

In time, she may realize even more power within her. For once touched by the spirits, one is never the same again…

Old name: Hideo Takeshi / Argo
New name: Argo Takeshi
Archtype: Magic Scrapper (on virtue)

A brief synopsis of the character.
------------------------------------------------------------
Background:
An escaped reject from the Circle of Thorns supersoldier program. Their objective was to imbue a human with the essence of a demon (i.e. possession). However, the bindings of the summoned demon were nullfied when combined with the freewill of an exceptionally strong human soul.

Hideo Takeshi, formerly a project coordinator at a small start up firm wound up with an unbound extraplanar entity inside him. His strong soul and iron will allowed him to survive the possession by the demon Argo, resulting in a hybrid demon-human entity.

The reborn Argo Takeshi, escaped and was disoriented in Paragon City till a few of the elder heroes helped him regain coherence and sign up as another new hero to protect humanity.

The question is who will protect Hideo Takeshi's humanity for everyday is not only a fight in the world around him but within him as well. Each passing day the demonic side gets stronger as he accepts more of the "gift" making it harder to resist the evil temptations and to not become that which he fights.

Appearance:
5' 10" male of lanky build with black unkempt hair (spikey), dark shadowed eyes and a somewhat feral face. He wears nothing but torn black dress pants that once belonged to the suit of a salaried employee. He looks human but feels a little bit something else.

Personality:
He is not exactly polite and fighting the good fight is more just another day of combat which sometimes he relishes more than he should. His mannerisms and word choices can be gruff but he is still not above a "Thank you" or an occasional encouraging comment. He takes the daily fight as a responsibility and a duty (for if there were enough heroes the day he was kidnapped his future may have been less morbid). He can be a bit of the stereotypical dark broody type but other emotions do drift across his face resulting in many double takes. Although intrinsically a Lone Wolf he appreciates the success and effectiveness of team cooperation and sees friends and allies as vital components. He has demonic traits and so even though he dislikes demons he tends to seek them out.

Great posts, I enjoy reading them and thanks for taking the time to do them. Here is mine, its sort of shortened but I hope it makes sence.

Hero: ShadowSeed

Background: Shadowseed was conceived in the womb of a normal woman (Maya). As for the father of this child it is still a mystery. What we do know, is that one night, shadows from the netherworld entered an innocent girls bedroom and performed cult like rituals while she slept. (They had planned on creating thier new warrior, a human/shadow, to fight the heros of Paragon City.) Mayas dreams were tortured and she struggled to escape them but peace would not come to her on this night. When she finally awoke two days had past and there were strange marking on her and everywhere in the room. Scared, freaked out, and crying she called the one man that she thought might understand what was happening to her, her grandfather, a powerful warlock. Obviously disturbed by the news and the sound in her voice, he rushed over to aid in any way he could.

9 months later; Maya was giving birth to a child she did not have the heart to get rid of. During the birth the room became dark and misty and it looked as if the shadows themselves were circling around Maya. This was Paragon City and strange things often happened in Paragon City Hospital, so the staff continued working knowing that they had a baby to deliver. Upon the birth of the child an emence light emitted from the babies eyes. It was so bright and pure that it filled the room leaving all that saw it temporarily blind and killing the Netherworld creatures burning them out of existence.

Shadowseed was brought up by his mother and she trained him in the art of kindness and compassion. He was trained by his Grandfather, in the arts of the netherworld and he received further training in the art of combat by the master of the Shadow Fist Technique.

Now Shadowseed fights with the Heroes of Paragon City and defeats the darkness with its own weapons.

Battle cry: I will send you to the place you fight for.

Here is mine, I hope you enjoy it.

Viscount Andrias du Duvraye, born in a world of magic and war became a confused and disoriented member of the battle in Paragon City. During the initial invasion by the Rikti Andrias suddenly found himself in the ruins of a building just outside of Kings Row. Confused, weak and besieged by flying metal demons he was soon stuck a powerful blow and knocked unconscious. The only reason he awoke later to his new fate were the standard protections he wore at all times in his own world.

As he searched around the ruins for any clue to why he was here he found the badly burned and nearly dead body of a minor enchanter named Allen Graewulf. Andrias being a compassionate man, made him comfortable and did his best to heal the terrible wounds. In the end all it got him was the story of his summoning and the Guardianship of Graewulfs son. It seems that the minor wizard was trying to summon a “great magical force” to help combat the Rikti that were besieging his home and city. During the incantation and ritual involved the actual residence came under attack. Because Allen was not much of a wizard he did not summon the powerful demon he pictured but a human mage of another world.

It soon became apparent that the man would not last the night and he asked Andrias to look out for his son who seemed to be suddenly coming into his own magical inheritance. Andrias vowed to do the best he could with the young man and sat closely by as the life faded from the foolish mage. Under some nearby wreckage he found the boy/man, nearly exhausted, and still holding up part of the ceiling and nearly half the house from his terrified mother. Eventually, they were all extricated and the mourning began.

This world was different than his own, as Andrias could soon feel. He could not control the powers as he once had, incanting and casting spells or invoking items. He seemed to be a conduit for the energy of the magic and he started learning how to use it to drive some of the smaller Rikti devices and many of the human scavengers who followed them. As the days went on and the city recovered from the invasion he began mastering his powers little by little. He spent many days and nights teaching the young man how to be a warrior and soon could not physically best him. The bare fact that the young man had grown to nearly 8 feet tall and 500lbs did help in that regard. Eventually, the call came for all heroes to come into the main city and help with the reclamation from the Rikti invaders and Andrias and young Graewulf went, along the way Andrias set aside his past and took a new name, a name description of the new goal of his life. He would become a weapon, a force for good, a conduit of magic and justice. He would become
STRYKE.

Jackson Storm (Justice server)
Secret Identity: None
Origin: Natural
Archetype: Tanker
Powers: Invulnerability, Super Strength
Battlecry: "You don't have what it takes to weather the Storm!"

The Storm name is well-known among wrestlers and strongmen, and Jackson trained from early youth to carry on the family tradition. In the years before the arrival of the Rikti he established himself as an up-and-coming star of the professional wrestling industry; displaying considerable physical ability and a natural easy-going charisma that made him a sensation with the crowd, he rose quickly among the ranks of performance wrestlers with the powerhouse appeal of such signature moves as the 'Storm Warning' hanging suplex and the devastating 'F5' neckchoke. The alien invasion put an end to the showmanship, and with Paragon City and the entire Earth waging a desperate struggle to survive the extra-dimensional onslaught Jackson Storm stepped out of the ring and into the streets to dedicate his talents to defending his fans. Now the overt war is over, but at a terrible cost in heroes, and Jackson has joined the ranks of the hopefuls who strive to uphold the legacy of the valiant fallen. While he exhibits no flashy superpowers he does possess a stunning capacity for absorbing the most brutal punishment, and his charisma serves him well when working with a team of his fellow heroes. Having already experienced success as a larger-than-life personality, he has discovered that the mantle of the superhero is an easy fit on his massive shoulders.

Oh, and he hates Nazis. Seriously, passionately, furiously hates Nazis. Not to mention black magicians or any who would prey on children (Circle of Thorns, I'm looking at you).

Name: The Night Raven.

Background:

As soon as my domain is moved to a front-page enabled server (3-4 days from now), my full profile, along with my team profile (for the Night Watchmen) will be available at http://www.thenightwatchmen.com. Untill then, the origin of "The Night Raven."

-----
In 1985, the Regulators, lead by The Back-Alley Brawler, at last discovered the source of "Supes", a drug that had been plaguing paragon city for over a year. The following excerpt is taken from the files of the Freedom Phalanx:

...Thanks to the mystical masters of the Midnight Squad, The Back Alley Brawler was finally able to track the drug back to its source, a secret laboratory beneath a skyscraper in downtown Paragon City. The Brawler burst in upon them, his famous fists flying about him like a whirlwind. When the dust cleared, he had a moment to catch his breath and figure out just what it was he'd captured.

The facility turned out to be much more than a mere drug lab. It was a modern, high-tech, research facility. Not only were they manufacturing and distributing the drug, but they were also monitoring its effects on addicts. As this was a little out of his area of expertise, the Brawler placed a call to the Freedom Phalanx for some technical support. The scientists took the facility apart, freed the captive addicts and made some truly startling discoveries. The mysterious scientists, who resisted all attempts at interrogation, were not concerned so much with addicting America's youth as they were interested in seeing what effect their mind and body altering concoctions had upon the subjects.

The nefarious researchers had learned that, in less than 1% of those addicted to Supes, the human brain undergoes a radical alteration. The result is the creation of a new kind of sense - the ability to see, and even travel to other dimensions. This amazing psychic feat had long been theorized, as had the existence of alternate realities. The researchers had proven the theories true. Although the process drove the addicts quite mad, it also showed them whole other worlds; worlds similar, but yet different than our own. The Freedom Phalanx was unsure what to do with this research. The findings promised extraordinary new discoveries for the scientific world, but the data had been accrued in the foulest, most amoral manner imaginable.

This, of course, is a well-known part of Super-Hero history. What is NOT commonly known, however, is the "ultimate experiment" they discovered. In an isolated room, the Brawler discovered a young man strapped to a table by inch-thick, solid steel braces. Releasing the young man, the Brawler was knocked off his feet as the boy jumped off the table screaming "you're not real! You're not real! You can't fool me! YOU'RE NOT REAL!" The boy ran out of the room, dodging the Regulators, and disappearing in the night.

The Regulators combed over the files uncovered in the raid, and discovered the secret of the young man. Apparently, he was to be the "Ultimate experiment" for the Supes drug. The scientists were experimenting with an incredibly strong, highly-refined version of the drug, in hopes of opening portals to the other worlds; portals capable of not only SEEING the other side, but GOING there. They had tested the new drug on a number of subjects, all of whom briefly went mad, followed by death via massive aneurism.

Apparently, this young man was different. This young man had highly-elevated brain activity, and, perhaps more importantly, more will-power than any of the others they had kidnapped. With him, the drug took. The results were incredible. Tests subjects were fed very little, yet the boy seemed to grow stronger every day. More amazingly, the drug seemed to be permanent with him. After the first dose, he continued to be able to project the "seeing" portals (though still no luck with a physical transfer), even without continued dosage. His power level never went down, either.

This is what the Brawler and Statesman know. What follows, is the rest of the story.

After escaping the lab in which he was experimented on, The Night Raven found himself wondering the streets. Lost and alone, the experiments had left him with no memories of his past. The only clues he has are the nightmares that plague his attempts to sleep (which is why he rarely does, luckily he rarely NEEDS to). In his nightmares, he sees confusing images. Sometimes, he's in the mountains of Tibet, sometimes feudal Japan, sometimes a bizarre future. Sometime heaven. Sometimes hell. Sometimes he's at war. Sometimes, he has a family. The problem with his nightmares is that he can't tell what are memories and what are the hallucinations that plagued all the poor souls involved in the Supes testing.

What he DOES know is that the experiments left him with greatly enhanced strength (he's no Statesman, but he could easily trump an Olympic-class weight lifter) and amazing reflexes. What's more, he seems to grow stronger and faster as the days go by.

Now, he uses the abilities to battle evil. He doesn't really know why. He doesn't remember being taught right from wrong, but something inside him says it's what he was meant to do.

He is a man with no memories. A warrior with no past. They took everything from him. But they will soon discover that this man with nothing to live for, has become a hero, with everything to fight for.

Hero Name: Dr. Marissa Yi
Real Name: Same
Age: 30

Background
Prior to gaining her special powers, Dr. Yi dedicated her early adult years in the field of medicine, specializing in pediatrics. She has been a resident of Paragon City all her life.

When a certain immune-system defiency disease struck down the younger populace of the city, Dr. Yi was at the frontlines, conducting R & D into the possibility of a cure. As the disease claimed more lives every day, she took more drastic measures in the development of a potential electro-chemical treatment. When this was turned down by the CDC on the grounds as being too risky. Dr. Yi took matters into her own hands and attempted the treatment on herself. The experiment nearly proved fatal.

After recovering from her injuries, Dr. Yi discovered that the procedure had imbued her with the ability to manipulate electrical fields in a manner that proved beneficial to human tissue, healing wounds and even bringing back deceased patients not considered brain-dead. She also has the limited ability to wield electrically-based energy against an adversary, although her use of this secondary power is usually defensive in nature.

Tactical Overview
A quintessential Defender, Dr. Yi recognizes the true potential of her powers and in a fight acts accordingly. In combat, she tends to avoid direct confrontations with the enemy unless absolutely necessary. Instead, she primarily keeps a wary eye on her teammates, rendering aid as required. In this capacity, she is as tenacious as her more combat-oriented counterparts, often jumping into the thick of a melee in order to assist a gravely injured teammate.

When the situation does allows for it, Dr. Yi's uses her secondary powers in a support manner, striking from a distance rather than up close. The usage is judicious and done sparingly she prefers to keep up her energy levels for an on-the-spot execution of her primary powers when needed.

Name: John Blade

Background (prolonged version):
John Blade yawned and looked at his watch. 8 AM. Just eight more hours before he would retire from the force. It was going to be a slow last day – just some paperwork to finish, and then he would spend the rest of his time as a sergeant walking the headquarters, bidding farewell to his old friends. John could easily have risen to a higher rank in the force, but he refused every offer of promotion. He enjoyed being out in the street, interacting with the citizens and using his own special “hands on” approach to police work. There had been some charges of policy brutality, but mysteriously all paperwork regarding the incidents had mysteriously been lost. Blade’s outstanding record of solved crimes and villains but behind bars far outweighed such trifle matters.

He rubbed his eyes – he was still feeling a bit sleepy – and then opened the office door.

“Surprise!”

Not that it was much of one, really. After 35 years, you expect a surprise party on the day of your retirement. All of his colleagues were standing behind a desk, upon which a cake with a number of burning candles – 35, Blade assumed – sat. Strung between the office walls was a banderole with the text “Farewell to the finest of Paragon City’s finest!” That was the nickname they had given him. John smiled at the crowd, and tried to look startled.

“A surprise party? I would never have guessed!”

The rest of the day went pretty much as he had expected. After eating the cake and assuring everyone of his appreciation of the retirement gift (the proverbial gold watch), he finished the last of the paperwork and then went the round and said his goodbyes. And then he left for home, where his wife and two children waited.

Ah yes, his wife. Just thinking about her put a wide grin on John’s face. Miranda was the best thing that had ever happened to him. Before he met her, he had been a trouble-maker, always looking for fights. But her gentle spirit and strong love for him had changed him. He was a better man because of her, and for that he would always thank and love her. And the kids, the twins, two year old Sandy and Maria, they were angels. When he looked at their faces, John knew that that his life had meaning. And from this day on, he’d devote all his time to them. No more would Miranda have to worry about if he was going to come home from work. From now on, he was theirs. Utterly and completely.

He parked his car at the driveway of their suburban home, and walked up to the door. The scene that he saw when he opened it gave him the biggest chock of his life and left him stunned. On the floor of the hall lay the body of his way and children, and John knew instantly that they were all dead. Suddenly someone grabbed him from behind, and got him in a tight grip, making it impossible for him to move.

“Happy retirement day”, someone whispered into his ear. “This is a little present from our boss. He has so admired your work, and felt he just HAD you something for all your hard work.”

John tried to think. Who could’ve done this? The options were endless – during his day in the force he had toppled the schemes of many very powerful villains, and the person responsible for this could be any one of them.

“Don’t worry”, the voice continued, “we won’t kill you. Were would the point be in that? If we did, you would never be able to fully appreciate our gift. However, we are going to make sure that you will live the rest of your miserable life in pain.”

And that was the last thing John Blade heard before the great darkness of unconsciousness fell upon him.

Eventually that darkness faded away, only to give place for a slightly less compact darkness. John was conscious, but couldn’t see a thing. And he was in pain. His whole body felt like it was burning, but the most intense pain he felt in his eyes and right arm.

“Where am I”, he croaked. And then he remembers what had happened to his wife and children. “Oh dear God no… Miranda…”

“Ah, I see that you’re awake, John! Excellent”, a familiar voice said. It was Matt, one of John’s friends in the military. “You’re on a military base a few miles outside of Paragon. And you’re damn lucky that I found you when I did. Just a few minutes more, and you would’ve bled to death.” Matt paused for a moment, and when he spoke again his voice was filled with sadness and compassion. “I’m so sorry about Mir and the kids, John. I truly am.”

“Yeah, so am I”, John replied weakly. “So, what am I doing here? And why can’t I see anything.”

Matt cleared his throat. “Well, I came to your house on the night of your retirement. I had bought a bottle of champagne and thought we could celebrate your discharge from the force. Anyway, I found you and your family lying on the floor of the hall. God damn it, it was the most horrible thing I’ve ever seen. They had gouged your eyes out, John. That’s why you can’t see. Not only that, they cut off your right arm as well. You don’t remember any of this?”

For a long while, Blade said nothing. Then, in a trembling voice: “No, I must’ve passed out from the pain, and my brain is blocking the memories. I must say I’m thankful for it. So why am I on this military base, and not in a hospital?”

“It’s because we have the best damned doctors in the country on this base, John. If I had taken you to a civilian hospital, you wouldn’t have lived the night.” Matt sighed. “But I have to admit I have an ulterior motive. As you know, I’m working on a secret military project. A project that involves bio-mechanical enhancements of soldiers. We’re almost finished with the development, but we need a test subject…”

“You want to use me as a test subject for your damned project?” John screamed. “My family has just been killed, I’ve had various body parts cut off, and you want to use me as a TEST SUBJECT? [censored] you, Matt!”

“Calm down, John! Please listen to me. It was the only way I could save you. I knew a civilian hospital wouldn’t be able to help you, and the way I could get you here was if I promised the brass that you would agree to be the test subject. This stuff is top secret! If you refuse, they’ll have you killed, and there’s not a God damn thing I can do about it.” Another pause. “Besides, if you want extract revenge on those who did this to you, you will need to be able to see and use your arm. Think about it. It’s the only choice.”

John sighed. “I guess you’re right, Matt. I’m not sure I like this whole set-up, but I will do it.”

Teen weeks later, John Blade once again stood at the front door to his house. He was finally able to use his new arm well, and his brain had adjusted to the new eyes, although he occasionally got splitting headaches. He unlocked the door and half expected to see the bodies of his family on the floor. But they were gone, of course. His old colleagues in the police force had been there and investigated, without being able to find and clues as to who could’ve been the one responsible. So John had decided to take matters into his own hands, and [censored] what the military brass said about him not being allowed to show himself out in the public. With all the other “heroes” roaming the streets of Paragon City, why would people care about a guy with a metallic arm and eyes?

He walked up the stairs, and into his old bedroom. There, in one of the corners, stood a big weapon locker. John walked up to it, unlocked it, and picked up an assault rifle.

And then he walked out of his house, on to the streets of Paragon City, looking for revenge.

Origin: Technology
Archetype: Blaster
Primary Power: Assault Rifle
Secondary Power: Devices

Originally for England Althius Baal was a scientist and inventor for many years, working on many non-lethal weapons and trapping devices for the government. Being the inventor of these tools, he knew how to use them, and how to use them well. He spent lots of time testing the weapons himself to make sure that they were the best possible for the peacekeeping forces of the world. In order to test some of his more bulky equipment like the Multi-Purpose Assault Gun and the Mark VI Combat Armor he had to train and become fit and strong, and learnt several combats styles and to agile and flexible.

At the start of the Rikti invasion Althius was enlisted by the army to fight in the upcoming war and ended up being posted to Paragon City to protect the citizen and to repel all Rikti attack. It was at the end of the war when Althius stumbled across some trouble. He was on his way back to the barracks when he turned a corner in Kings Row and walked into the middle of around 12 Skulls. Unsure what to do Althius was quickly caught off guard and was hit in the chest with a sledgehammer, breaking his rips and puncturing a lung. The Skulls took a couple more shots at him before they left him for dead and walked away laughing. It was then that a hero named The Neo Communist found him and took him to the local hospital.

Althius spent many months in the hospital before he could get back to real life, but the war was over and he had to return to England. Althius had no desire to return to England and, all he had on his mind was revenge. Taking a job for a small research company Althius began to continue his research and development of weapon to stop crime, but this time stayed away from non-lethal weapon and more at the destructive kind.

After a year working there he had made several inventions but was getting to eager for revenge. So Althius starts to work on a costume. Making his armor out of a metal polymer as flexible as cloth but as strong as Kevlar. His mask was made of the same material, with infrared goggles to see in the dark. Using his gadgets and his Multi-Purpose Assault Gun he was equipped for battle. He had decided on a name the day he woke in the hospital… The Retaliator, know all he needed was a symbol. The only symbol in his head was that of the Skulls, so he decided he would us that, so that would be the last thing in there mind when he it was his turn to get revenge.

Althius is still out to stop the Skulls, but know there are even more gangs in Paragon City, and he hunts then down with as much hatred as that he has for the Skulls. Now part of the supergroup Gunstar Heros with The Neo Communist he strives to protect Paragon City with as much force as possible.

Frosty Pants:

Growing up, Troy was always a trouble maker. He would get in fights at school almost every day, has been suspended numerous times, and has spent some time in jail for a handful of minor crimes. One day, his mother had asked him to go with her to the store for some help and they were mugged by a group of Hellions. Troy’s was shoved aside as his mother was nearly beat to death for the few groceries and measly pocket change she had on her. Sensing that Troy was of no threat, the gang took what they could and left. That day, Troy realized the truth of his self destructive path, and saw some of himself in those Hellions, and knew he did not want to end up like them.

Many years had passed, and Troy had become a changed man. He became an active community member attempting to rid the streets of the crime that had almost swallowed him to. He also became quite active in school and began to pursue a career in cryogenics. Being an active member against criminal activity, Troy had made a few enemies, particularly the Hellions. His family constantly had death threats against them, and it got to the point where they were afraid to leave their own homes. Not being one to be intimidated though, Troy does not think much about it. One night at his lab, him and his assistant Lisa, are working on the latest in cryogenic research. He gets a call though, and all that is said on the other line is “You shouldn’t have messed with us. Now you just paid with your families life” He jumps up to leave his office, only to see an execution squad awaiting him outside his office. Left for dead, Lisa runs out of the building and soon realizes that there is only one way to save his life. She drags him back inside, and freezes him.

Months have passed, and the newspapers lost interest in Troy’s families deaths, or his disappearance. Lisa though is hard at work reviving him, spending virtually every waking hour of her time to bring him back with their new science. When she was just about to give up, she saw Troy began to twitch, and awake. He was alive…or so it seemed. He had no heartbeat, but seemed as alive as anyone else. Through time, they realized their cryogenics was a success and a failure at the same time. Although he was there, and maintained all of his memories, inside, he was dead. And once Lisa felt it necessary to relay the information to him about his family, he took it upon himself to rid the world once and for all of the Hellions, and anyone else who threatened innocents. Troy was dead. To himself, and to the world. Developing a suit that provided him the abilities to manipulate ice, he took the streets and started his quest.

Quick Voltage
Age: 24
Weight: 220 pounds
Security Lvl: 22

Quick Voltage was a simple scientist (Spencer Wexler), he had been working on a new antivirus that would be able to cure the Rikti virus. While testing the prototype antivirus, something went terribly wrong. A drop of Nitrous Eletris mixed with the antivirus and a huge flash spread through tthe entire building and all power failed. He woke up in the hospital four weeks later, without a scratch on him. He went home to check his email on his computer, but when he touched it sparks flew from his hands and the computer exploded. He studied this for weeks and eventually decided that he would not waste his new aquired powers, and got on the train to Paragon City.
