I was going to go Inv., but I already have a level 50 Inv. brute. My EA brute is stuck at 32. She isn't much fun to play. So I went Claws/Fire instead. Am I insane or could that be good as well?

It appears the client patched itself, however, the servers will probably be patched later this morning. You'll likely be fine after the maintenance.

Instead of the hero system, where they awaken in the hospital and exit out, the villians should "awaken" and exit from a Courtroom. Your punishment (i.e. debt) could be considered the fines assessed against you.
