Well, crap.
To elaborate: I registered to CoX several years ago, in a North American account (simply because there
wasn't a European side yet). Played for a long time, reached level 50 both blueside and redside. Eventually deactivated my account, before Going Rogue.
So, couple hours ago, I saw the sale on Steam, and bought the game. Except that it's City of Heroes EU. So I end up using my activation code to create what looks like a European account where I have no access to my old characters - you know, the ones I
actually wanted to play this with. And I can no longer use the code to upgrade my original account. Nor can I buy the stupid thing again with Steam.
So, has my stupidity doomed me? Or is there any way to recover from this mess? (Transfer characters between US and EU accounts, undo upgrade to use it on original account, I dunno?)
