The thing that attracts new players to our server is the presence of consistant and nice people playing low lvl content on a regular basis.
I'm a relatively new player (10mos) and I DID read those wiki entries. However, after choosing some other random server (I think it was Justice) and wandering around on a lvl1 for a while, I got bored and decided to try other random servers. I think Triumph was like my 3rd or 4th try.
While wandering around Triumph, I found an awesome PUG sewer team in atlas. Then I got to the Hallows and joined a PUG Frostfire with a few solid vets. They were the ones that sealed the deal for me. They were helpful, friendly, and very patient with my ignorance to the game. Most importantly, they stuck around to run mishes with me through Faultline, Croatoa, and even Bricks. And we weren't even globals! We just happened to keep seeing each other on the generic "find team".
I still like to run sewer sweeps and lurk the hallows for that reason. -

I'm thinking about making a shard build on my fire blaster and am trying to work out the means to get her to fly very fast. I hate TP travel but I also want to go quickly, even at the cost of performance. Therefore, I was wondering how you guys think I can reach the flight speed cap?

I mostly tf my way up the lvls and then bug gfriends for teaming or pling. Mostly the former. Right now I've got several toons sitting on the lvl20 and lvl30 range, but I play pretty much everything below that (I've done sewer runs on my lvl 30s). shoot me a tell if u see me on triumph watch 2.0 and i'll be happy to team with yah if i'm not already on a tf.

I know that my unupgradable GMA 950 video card in my macbook is no longer supported by COH.
I know that I have been living on borrowed time by continuing to play the game in safe mode and putting up with mousebugs and bad graphics.
With the economy as it is, I won't be able to purchase a new computer.
But I just have to say:
I will be really really sad if Going Rogue will end entirely my ability to play COH.
Just wanted it to say it to those very few people who regularly read this forum (i.e., Manga and maybe, just maybe, a dev) -
this is by far one of the most entertaining threads i've ever read
